Crouching down to his level Damian smirked viciously as he tapped his gun on his chin as if he was thinking. "You know what I forgot about you trying to force her. Thanks for reminding me. Let me tell you a story I read, a novel actually." Damian smiled making the guy in front of him tremble two times. "In a Chinese novel which I read there used to be a villainess. A villainess who's desperate for the main lead. She tried to humiliate, hurt and kill the female lead. When nothing worked she tried to drug the male lead and tried to sleep with him. But we already know that the female lead would never let it happen. As usual the villainess is punished you know how? Guess it."

I ran my hand through each one of them, looking for clues. What was I looking for in books? I've watched a lot of movies where the villains hide their secrets in the most unimaginable places, and someone as shady as Diego wouldn't be an exception. "I can't believe I labeled him as a villain already," I said with a groan. "And you got married to a villian, what does that make you as the main character? Someone thoughtless and dumb? It doesn't always end well with the villains," my subconscious mind teased me.

The way she’d light up when I walked into a room. And when the time was right… I’d remind her. Remind her of the way Liam used her. Lied to her. Humiliated her in front of the entire school. Then I’d be the one she clings to when it all floods back. And just when she thinks she’s found safety… That’s when I’d strike. Maybe it makes me the villain in this story. Maybe I’m worse than Liam. But someone’s got to bring the king down. And I plan to do it with a smile.

I remembered that the original plot said that she was supposed to die there, but it was by suicide with a knife instead.

Still, I went on, "My best friend and my husband had sex in my grandfather-in-law's casket on the day of his burial. Then, after I exposed them, my mother-in-law and these two tried to twist the narrative and paint me as the villain. "I am the victim here. I've suffered two betrayals from the people closest to me. This is the proof." I raised the phone. "They planned this themselves. I believe even my grandfather's spirit can see that I'm innocent. And I have all of you as witnesses." I turned to Dulce and finished, "Is there any doubt left?" Vincent suddenly sat up in the coffin. "Fuck you, bitch! Victim my ass! You caused this too!" he bellowed. "Yes, I'm cheating with Stephanie. So what?!

"You must be a long-time fan of this novel. You're late to the party, though—the plot has already completely derailed!" "In any case, we're fully on board with the supporting male lead and the big shot being a couple! Zoe and Jaiden can do whatever they want!"

Scott asked her, his tone was filled with love and warmth, one could clearly see how much he loved her very much. Maddison never felt she would have ever fallen in love again, but it all started with office romance {story another day, Hehe.} Madison sat up straight, she never joked with her revenge, for her she needed to carry it out soon but little did she know was that fate had another way of turning things around. Such pity. But, I could guess that the villain—which is Phoenix Phoenix Valcarcel, would fall from his grace in the end because all of the other clans turned their back on him and make him their biggest threat, their biggest enemy. They just collided with the protagonists who brainwashed them and schemed towards the villain to take him down. This is the reason why the villain didn't succeed, all because of the protagonist's schemes. It wasn't just that, the villain was taken down by the protagonists because they are the protagonists who had the protagonist's halo.

There was no need for him to add his brand new wife to the list. She needed to focus. This man was a villain. He had been the head of a notorious ring of aristocrats that had treated commoners like garbage. She had researched him and his family, she knew all about their crimes. He had only turned everyone in to save his own skin. He wouldn’t trick her. She would watch him. She was sure that he would go back to his old ways, and when that happened she would promptly turn him in. She was sure the king would annul their marriage when that happened.
