After Five Years
Occasionally, we suggested which fruit was the sweetest.
“Try this mango,” I said, pointing to a shiny pile of mangoes. Julien nodded, agreeing with the choice, and we smiled with satisfaction.
In the midst of the fun, we couldn’t help but laugh when we saw an absurd promotion displayed on a poster.
“Wasabi-flavored yogurt?” Julien asked with a shocked expression.
We both chuckled, imagining how strange it would be to mix spiciness with what should be refreshing yogurt. Moments like this, though simple, always managed to bring us closer together. There was something delightful about sharing laughter over little things.
