Understanding my meaning, Morgan practically skipped as she left. My mind went back to Amon, how was I going to break the contract he holds with Astaroth. I summoned the demon. A black cloud of smoke appeared before me. The dragon formed first then Astaroth. The creature was magnificent, fearsome-looking with black and a deep purple shiny scales covered its long snake-like body. Long sharp blood-stained teeth. Black razor-sharp claws dipped in bone-melting acid, protruded through the dragon's paws.

“Hahahaha, kid! Now you have strong conviction, and your mindset has changed too. Your aura has changed, and I can see that change in your aura myself. It seems like the trials and experiences here have changed your life, haven’t they? Hahahaha!” The Black Dragon’s gaze was filled with joy at seeing how Xiao Chen’s nature had truly changed; he was even more pleased with the aura Xiao Chen now possessed. Xiao Chen’s aura had previously appeared black and felt suffocating to the Black Dragon’s eyes, but now, while the black aura remained, it no longer felt suffocating—a blend of auras had emerged that made the Black Dragon happy to see this young man.

He hissed, walking closer until he was inches from my face. “Think about her biology, you stubborn b*st*rd. She is a mortal. She is a fragile human girl. The backwash of a royal dragon rejecting a fated bond will shatter her mind and stop her heart within seconds. She will die first, right here in your castle.” I looked away towards the storm again.

She started but was stopped by the glare from Elena. “Now!” Elena said sternly. Liam also turned to the two dragons and said “I am here with her, both of you take the injured to the safety and alert the silver knights.” With that said though reluctant, both the dragons did as their master’s ordered. As the dragons disappeared into the horizon, the black vortexes overhead began spinning faster, their shapes merging. One by one, they spiralled toward the centre of the broken tomb, colliding with blinding flashes of red and violet lightning. The wind screamed. The very sky seemed to bend inward.

Elder Michael said. “Of course Elder,” Megan said and stood up. I wasn’t permitted to go with her so I waited with Felix while Megan left with all three Elders into an adjoining room and I could feel the moment Kaida separated from Megan. She was a beautiful dragoness, silvery white in colour and about half the size of Abeloth, which made her a tad smaller than a violet dragon.

Holding up a hand towards the floating seals, a burst of blue flames shoots from his fingers and engulfs the seals. "Is that..." He nods. "Dragon flames. The seals can only be destroyed by my flames," he replies, and I nod. "You could have destroyed them one after the other," I point out, and a smile ghosts over his lips. "It's more efficient this way. Besides, I lose a ton of energy each time I use the flames," he says. The intensity of the flames increases and the seals begin to glow brighter. Then, in an instant, they all turn black and begin to disintegrate into fine dust on the floor.

Lucifer carried herself up and glared at the dragon. ‘Nature is my ally, water is my compatriot, Mind eye Hieroglyph : Soul chain’ she thought, extending her right hand upwards aiming at the dragon, her purplish metaphysical essence coating the arm, as a whole and from the core of the palm she shot out a ball of purple which broke the sound barrier. With the attack drawing closer, the dragon too unleashed its own attack, plasma gathered in its mouth and with a thundering roar it released the plasma breath. The two attacks collided and fierce winds picked up scattering everything away, the earth shook.

I gasped at the picture and heard Jewels laugh in the back of my mind. “Oh yes,” she said “Even here we are very special, I can’t wait until they see us,” Oh I hadn’t even thought of how the Dragon council would react to me being a black dragon. Other than having two mates, which was the norm for a black dragon, I didn’t know much else about them. The carriage finally settled on the ground with a slight bump and a guard popped his head in the window.

Ao Shi said coldly. "This black rain is indeed interesting." Samuel forced a smile and said stubbornly. "This black rain is formed by the blood essence of my Everlasting Sea's deep-sea mad dragon for 10,000 years. It is inevitable that it will be strong. Samuel, oh no, maybe I should call you the evil dragon. Surrender." Ao Shi said with a disdainful smile. "It's boring to surrender." Samuel smiled bitterly and said, "I still want to watch a good show."
