Zac Efron Before Accident Novels & Stories

Five years earlier, after Shaw Corporation’s annual gala, a car had come barreling toward Fiona. Zac had stepped in front of her. His right leg had been badly injured in the crash. After that, he became the man who had saved Fiona’s life.

Eddie raised an eyebrow. "She missed rehearsals," I went on. "People said she was acting like a diva. But then George submitted a medical report that said she'd been in an accident ten days ago, so she couldn't make it." I leaned in slightly, my voice lowered, my smile wide. "I didn't think much of it until I heard something more private." I paused, letting the moment hang. "The accident involved a miscarriage." Eddie's expression didn't change, but something shifted in his eyes. I couldn't tell what he was thinking. He normally paid little attention to other people's affairs, yet something about the shadowy figure beside George seemed to stir his curiosity.

His head was wrapped in bandages, true, and he was wearing a hospital gown, but he didn’t look like someone who had gone through intensive brain surgery at all. “His body is remarkable,” Dr. Everton told me. “We were so glad when he signed up for the trials. Even after all the damage he had gone through after the accident, he had recovered so well. If not for the extensive damage done to his brain after the accident by that hack, he would’ve recovered from the accident as if it hadn’t happened at all.” My head whipped towards him, my mind processing those words until the implication registered like a plummeting comet. “…After the accident?” I exclaimed. “What are you talking about, Dr. Evert

Liora asked as she walked to the living room with Fiona right behind her. “Mom, see, you are on TV.” Amelia pointed, grinning, at the picture of her mother on the screen. - Today the White Medical Center performed a surgery on Mr. Cavanade, with the surgeon being the popular Dr. Athena. According to sources…. “Is this real?” Fiona asked in shock. “Yes, it is, and I think…” Betty started to say when the ringing tone of Fiona’s phone pierced the room. “I should get that.” Fiona mumbled, hurrying to pick up her phone from the dining table.

I murmured, and he nodded in understanding. "How's it going with Ms. Casanova? Have you managed to persuade her to testify in court?" Victoria Casanova, a nurse who had cared for me at the hospital after my accident. She'd unexpectedly reached out to me one day and expressed her relief that I'd survived. She'd shared startling information about the doctor in charge then and Zion. She revealed overhearing their conversation one day where Zion paid the doctor for my death certificate, even having an audio recording to prove it. However, Martinez had said her testimony alone wasn't sufficient without appearing in court.

“On the morning of your accident, five days ago, can you recall what you had for breakfast? A drink perhaps? Or any medication?” Zia’s hands that were adjusting her buttons froze. Her chest tightened as the doctor’s question registered. Like a scene replaying over and over again, the birthday breakfast she’d had, before stepping out that day slowly formed as words on her quivering lips. “Steak. Eggs. A slice of… cake. Fresh orange juice.” Zia listed. Then she looked up at the doctor who was scribbling away on a notepad and frowned. “Why do you ask?” The older man had a grave expression on his face when he finally met Zia’s gaze.

“Why didn’t you call? Why did you go near the stream that late?” I tried to answer, but the words felt stuck. Teresa stepped in immediately. she can't hear, Mr Ashford,” Teresa said, turning to him. “Her hearing aids stopped working after the accident. The doctors said it’s because of the trauma.” Zane froze. He looked back at me slowly, realization hitting his face all at once. The room fell into another heavy silence.

He took another deep breath before he spoke again. “I was crippled for almost two years. I graduated from college riding a wheelchair. It was all because of an accident I met on my 23rd birthday…” I didn’t say anything. I was just staring at him with a shocked expression on my face. He…what? “Brianna, I was the one who’s with you when you had an accident. It was me. I was the one on the passenger seat. It was me, Bree. Not Cain Hamilton…” My lips parted. I was even more shocked. “W-What are you talking about? Cain was the one I saw in the hospital—”

Unknown to him, it was the same lady he had been looking for the entire time. When the doctors came out, he got on his feet, ready to hear what they had to say. “Mr. Ambrose!” The familiar doctor addressed him. “How is she?” he asked, expectant. “She is alright. She fainted as a result of shock and the fact that her head is still tender from the last accident,” the doctor explained. “She was supposed to be on close watch after the last time.” Rafael sported a confused look. “The last time?”

Zoe had gone into full "child-bearing mode" after she got pregnant. She had even pushed Shea's treatment aside. So it could not have been Zoe who cured Eric Santos! "I'm not clear on the details," said the family doctor regretfully. "However, the probability of him waking up from his illness was extremely low. I think he found a neurologist on par with Professor James Hough." After the call, Elliot immediately sent someone to contact the Santos family. Eric Santos had left the entertainment industry two years ago, so all his known contact information and addresses were useless.
