Without warning, I landed hard on the ground, rolling across the dirt several times before my forehead slammed against the trunk of a tree. A cry ripped from my throat as pain exploded behind my eyes. Dark spots danced across my vision, growing larger with every passing second. "What was that?" I demanded, my voice weak as my eyelids began to droop. To my surprise, an answer came. "A demonstration." I stared into the encroaching darkness. Zaka. It was him. "A demonstration of what?" Zara sat in front of the mirror, wiping her eyes with the tissue, her face got stained by the mascara. She sniffed and dabbed her face. “Crying doesn’t suit you. I’m not sure how that’s gonna help you.” “I don’t know why this is happening to me!” She cried more, staring at the pictures of Kenzo and Elina in Vietnam. I don't even know where she took me but we suddenly stopped and she looked at me worriedly. "Zaya, stop crying, please," she said and my hands reached my face and I felt a liquid pouring in. I am crying? Why am I crying when I feel like I'm not feeling anything? My body feels so numb that I'm doubting myself if I am still breathing.
