Zane Books Novels & Stories

Zane As I sat with my personal cabinet, discussing the intricate details of our latest ventures, the atmosphere in the room was a mix of intensity and confidence. We had been working tirelessly to expand our influence, and the success of our operations depended heavily on precision and secrecy. My advisors, each an expert in their field, were laying out the plans with meticulous care. Just as my chief strategist, Lila, was about to present her latest analysis on our territorial gains, the door swung open with a force that silenced the room.

Chapter 23: The Weight of Vengeance The castle of Zorana had once been a symbol of strength and unity, but now, it stood as a silent witness to the unraveling of everything Caden had once cherished. War had taken its toll, not just on the kingdom, but on the people who had once thrived within its walls. The air was thick with the tension of unresolved grief, the remnants of battles both won and lost. And at the center of it all stood Prince Caden—his every move, his every breath consumed by a singular obsession: vengeance.

Zane nodded, the matter closed, and finished his sandwich. * * * After lunch Zane found the gift shop with the instinct children have for gift shops regardless of how well concealed they are, and Marcus, without being asked and without looking at me for confirmation, said yes when Zane held up a book about deep sea creatures that was considerably more detailed than the one he already had. Zane said, "Thank you, Marcus," with the careful courtesy my mother had built into him, and then, after a moment, said, "Is it alright if I call you something else."

I wrapped my arms around her, pressing my chin into her hair, whispering things I didn’t know I still believed. “It’s okay,” I murmured. “You’re safe.” For a fleeting moment, I thought maybe she believed me. Maybe we could start again, even if the world outside was burning. But the sound of footsteps shattered that illusion. The door burst open with a loud crack that made Maya jump in my arms. Zane stood in the doorway, rain dripping from his dark hair, his eyes glowing faintly—wolfish, predatory. His presence filled the small apartment like a storm breaking through glass.

Zane laughed, catching it easily. "See? Teamwork." Ryan exhaled loudly, running a hand through his hair. "Why did I even agree to live with you..." Zane Smiled lightly for that, getting up at last.He began picking up things randomly, opening boxes without care. As they sorted through bags and boxes, Zane's eyes suddenly fell on something. A diary. Something about it instantly caught his attention. Without thinking much, he picked it up and slowly opened it. The very first page made his breath hitch.

“Hello, Natalie Blue Watson,” Zane said calmly. “What do you want?” Natalie snapped, shocked that her new boss was standing outside her door. Zane was about 6 feet tall with very handsome features. He had brown eyes and black hair which was cut shorter in the sides and left the middle longer. His smile was his weapon and every woman fell for it. Well, every woman except Natalie, who only saw a rich brat in him. “Won’t you ask me to come in?”

Zane flushed, realized he’d made noise in front of literally everyone important, and then, to his credit, did not back down. He squared his shoulders. “No,” he said again, louder. “No one’s taking her blood to feed to a hole in the world. I don’t care what ‘old book says.’” Melody blinked. Heather smiled slowly. “Ohhhh,” she whispered, delighted. “Zane. I did not know you had a spine. I like you now.” Zane scowled. “I’ve always had a spine.” “You’ve always had a pretty spine,” Heather corrected. “This is new. I’m proud. Continue.”

Well, that went well, not that I ever expected anything different this mountain of a man has so much love to give, and even though baby number three was a complete surprise, I still have visions of a possible baby number four or five. Zane comes from a big family and is happiest when surrounded by his children, nieces and nephews, and the ever-growing children of the Swift family. He is just amazing, My big cuddly teddy bear! Authors note I am so sad this story has come to an end. It's been an emotional one for me after losing my Mum, my biggest fan, I found it so hard to get my head back into writing, but I made a vow to finish this for her and today I did.

My hand instinctively moved between my thighs, gently rubbing my sensitive clit as memories of Zane destroying me flooded my mind. The bathroom door suddenly opened. I froze. Zane stepped inside, still fully dressed, holding a stack of my books he’d 'borrowed' earlier. His steel-grey eyes immediately darkened as they landed on my wet, naked body behind the glass. "Fuck…" he muttered, dropping the books on the counter without caring where they landed. "Zane..." I started, but he was already stripping. His shirt came off, revealing his sculpted chest and abs. Then his pants dropped, and his massive, thick cock sprang free, already rock hard and angry.

Zane voiced and I felt hollowed out. “Don't patronise me, Zane!” But Zane headed straight for the shelves, arranging some old ledgers with meticulous fingers. Then he took one from the shelf, turned a page and put it back. I clenched my fists by my sides. "Pay attention to me," I ordered, taking a step closer. Zane ignored me completely. He took another book and inspected its cover before bringing it over to the large drawer in the desk. He put the books into the drawer and closed it with a push of his hip.
