The moon at its fullness readily shone on mountain Gaza. The whooshing whispers of the wind tore into every part of it. The mountain was readily situated at the center of five wolf kingdoms ; Azra, Ezra, Nitra , Yarna and Baduk. For every other night, it would have a lovely sight to behold the parts of the five kingdoms from the peak . But tonight, the case was totally different. The tension was high and uncertainty was the mood . Duncan , the alpha king of the most powerful kingdom, Azra, had begun a quest that was long buried. A quest to bring every other kingdom under his rule.

Chapter One Hundred and Fifty Zara’s POV As the rain poured outside, Zara lay curled up on her bed, tears streaming down her cheeks. She clutched a faded photograph of her parents, who had mysteriously gone missing several months ago. The weight of their absence was overwhelming, especially now that she was carrying her own child. In the midst of her sorrow, the bedroom door creaked open, and Alexander's mother, Luna Queen Nina, walked in. Her eyes filled with empathy as she saw Zara's tear-stained face. She quietly approached the bed and sat down next to her.

Tears welled up in her eyes, spilling down her cheeks as she blinked rapidly. Someone saved her. The figure moved beside her, and she looked up as the clouds shifted, allowing the moonlight to spill down and illuminate him. Violet gasped, her heart stopping in her chest seeing those red eyes. “Alpha Z...Zenith?” She whispered, her voice barely audible, as the realization crashed over her. Alpha Zenith’s eyes, filled with a mix of worry and anger, locked onto hers. Even though she slapped him, the most powerful Alpha of the continent, he swallowed the tiny insult because the girl in front of him was not some ordinary girl.

The border of the Zenith Crown wasn't marked by a fence or a stony wall, but by the sudden, chilling absence of Kaelen’s heat, one step, I was in the stifling, golden pressure of his territory, the next, I was in the Neutral Zone, the air here was different, it tasted of damp earth, old pine, and rotting leaves, it was the honest, uncurated scent of a forest that didn't have a self-proclaimed sun-god trying to keep it in a state of perpetual summer.

Few warriors were arranging their training tools, and Hunter was standing in the extreme. Zara doesn't know why everyone loves being around where she should be, but she ignored all and started working, hoping that Tori and Daphne wouldn't bother her. Zara just pour the first splash of water on the floor when Zan emerged from the tree line in the matching area of the territory. Zan came silently, almost spectral, his presence commanding the ground before he touched it. His dark eyes scanned her form, noting the subtle tension in her stance, the way her muscles flexed in preparation.

Even the human Gunner looked smaller than the one I know. As Gunner fawned over Zee, checking her wounds and covering her exposed body, that warm feeling from before returned, along with the same sweet scent. I looked around but I still couldn’t see the source of it. The room seemed to grow brighter, but either they didn’t notice or couldn’t see it. Gunner and the two other wolves paid no mind to the additional light, or the odd scent.

Relief flooded through him as he drew her closer and pressed his lips to hers in a fierce, claiming kiss. "People are watching," Zora murmured against his mouth. "Let them," he growled back. "We're covered in dirt and blood." "Perfect. We just won a war." He reluctantly pulled away, but his hands remained possessive on her waist. --- In a private alcove away from prying eyes, Zora pricked her finger with a small blade, letting precious drops fall into several bottles of water they'd scavenged. Trent carefully mixed the liquid, ensuring the blood dissolved completely and left no trace of what made this water so miraculous.

I set down my phone and I began my drawing of the wolfen goddess I’d been with, looking over her shoulder at me like she had the night before when I’d taken her from behind. As I drew her, I’d thought about sketching in the crescent moon birthmark on her back, but it was a little too low. It felt far too intimate a detail to share with anyone else, especially when I felt so strongly she was mine. I just wanted to make sure the drawing was good enough to help him identify her by her face anyways. I took a picture of it, and sent Damien a text: This is her. Find her ASAP. You got it, he texted back, and the search was on.

The first person in the contacts was Garret himself but I ignored his number and then quickly began to type Zane. However, being a Vampire Garret was fast. He stood in front of me all of a sudden and I didn’t even see him coming, or running for that matter. It was almost as if he could teleport. I don’t know what I typed but I tried to send whatever message I could to Zane, hoping he’d understand. Garret bared his fangs at me in anger as he glared at my phone, then he snatched it and threw it away in oblivion.

She stepped back “No.” The air around her shifted, energy crackled faintly, Zack’s eyes widened, “Zoe, don’t—” too late. Silver light burst around her, her body shimmered, and then she was gone. The world twisted violently, and Zoe stumbled forward as she reappeared just outside the Red Water Pack gates, her knees nearly buckling “Shit…” She dropped to one knee, breathing hard. Teleporting that far, using that much power, drained her instantly. Celeste whined softly. That was too much.
