We held her coronation as Luna today and she survived the risk of being uncovered.' The letter goes on but the rest are irrelevant." 12th new moon? That sounds like I can be invisible to the grieving wolf, right? Or was it every new moon? That's disturbing but useful. I looked at Aiden and his eyes were already on me. I can't pinpoint the emotion I saw in his face but I think I saw sadness and awe.

“These markings… they’re stories. About a wolf born from moon and alpha blood. Not a witch though. A special wolf blessed by the Moon Goddess herself. Blessed with powers that can do good and be dangerous at the same time.” Her throat worked like the words hurt. “They said this wolf was made to end dangerous creatures.” “Maybe the wolf is Zylia,” Mason joked, knowing fully well I carried no Alpha blood, but omega. “First ever joke I found funny,” She joined him. The application form loomed large, and I refocused my thoughts on the first entry box, which beckoned for the pack name. With a gentle sigh, Mama Hazel opened her journal once more, the pages whispering of memories captured in ink and dreams penned in the language of the heart. The stories she had written were more than just narratives—they were a reflection of the love, joy, and infinite possibilities that bloomed from their nighttime rituals.

The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing. To Cassandra, it was the most beautiful handwriting she had ever seen. She felt the urge to trace her fingers over the inked pages. There were pictures of herbs, flowers, roots, and seeds. There were also diagrams and drawings of astronomy. Some of them with suns, moons, and stars, or symbols for the zodiacal constellations: two fish for Pisces, a bull for Taurus, a hunter with a crossbow for Sagittarius, and so on. she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. I nodded, a smile tugging at my lips. “They’re ours, Nova. Finally, ours.” Then, as she gazed down at the boys, something caught her attention. Her smile faded for a moment as she gently moved aside one of the blankets, revealing the zodiac signs on their backs. Her eyes widened, and she looked up at me in awe. “These markings,” she said softly, tracing one of the symbols with her fingers. “They carry so much power. It’s a sign—a gift from the Moon Goddess herself.”
