Without thinking about myself, I jumped down from the podium and struck the death wraith with the Moon crest. It released Zira immediately and screamed. The light from the stone seemed to be burning it from the inside out. It thrashed around in an attempt to break free but the Moon crest held it captive. It ended up shrieking like that until it vanished into thin air and the Moon crest fell back into my hands.

He would just hypnotize her a second time and make sure she never gets free from it. "Serena, my pearl",he said softly, attempting to stroke her cheek. Serena slapped his hands off and stood up. She seemed to remember something and she looked down at her wrist. Sozai's bold mark met her eyes, a design of a merman and a girl with purple hair locked in a tight embrace. She raised her shocked eyes towards him and held up her wrist. "Do you have any idea what you've done?". "Calm down my pearl",Sozai said. "It is just my mark you're bearing, like you should have done years ago".

Maria frowned for a moment, “Actually it was in that same book that I read another story. It is rumoured that somewhere on the earth exists a moonstone so powerful it is believed to have fallen from the moon itself as a gift from the Moon Mother. It is said whoever wields that stone will be blessed with the wisdom and power of the Moon over the Earth.” “Do they look different?” Luna Yasmin asked. “It has been said that the stone is as alive as the moon itself.” She revealed with a look of excitement and mystery on her face leaving us all wondering.

“What?” “Yes sir. Apparently, we are her oracles. She made it so I can draw the scene.” I said holding up the drawing pad. “And Liz sees the whole picture as like a video of sorts.” “I never dreamed I’d be alive to see an oracle of the Moon Goddess!” Alpha James exclaimed. “So, you believe us?” Liz asked. “Of course, I do! There are many books that tell of different oracles through the ages and how coveted they are. We cannot let anyone know about you two.”

At least, he was merciful in that regard. Rather than stare at the silhouette of her best friend out there in the darkness alone, Nya turned her attention to the moon. The light was just missing Gavin now, but it would move momentarily, and he’d be bathed in the soft, warm glow of the Dragon Moon, and then, a shadow would pass across the orb, interrupting the beams, and the dragon would swoop out of the sky, his sharp talons sinking into Gavin’s flesh before the dragon plucked him away, flying up into the night sky with him and likely devouring him before he even reached his lair somewhere on the top of Scale Mountain to the west.

Her eyes were silver and she wore a silver dress that shimmered in the blue light. Azura was mesmerized by the woman’s beauty. “Come my child,” the woman spoke, her voice so serene. Azura stepped closer. “I’ve been waiting for you,” the woman said softly. “Why? Who are you?” Azura asked curiously. “I am your mother and mother of all wolves. I am the goddess of the moon. I am Selene,” she replied with an earnest smile. Azura was taken aback at her response. “But what can I do for you?” Azura said confusedly. “My child, you are special. You are my gift to my children. You are the key to end Leus’s evil,” she said smiling again. Azura was still confused. “But..how am I suppose

She's wearing a cape so I can't see her face very well, but when she senses that I'm near, she lifts her head and looks around. She stops when our eyes meet and I see the familiar glowing crescent mark in her eyes and that's when I confirm for sure, that she's Zoe...the third moon goddess' warrior! Wow! If this isn't luck, I don't know what it is!

“Physical? That mark on your wrist says otherwise.” My blood froze as I tugged my sleeve lower. Darius’s eyes narrowed. “Show me.” I had no choice so I rolled up the sleeve. The silver crescent glowed under the chandelier light, pulsing like a heartbeat, then the room exploded. “Mate bond!” “Impossible!” “With his stepsister?” Darius raised a hand and silence fell. “Zane?” He rolled up his own sleeve and there was a matching mark. Elder Thorne shot to his feet. “This is an abomination! The Moon Goddess would never...”

The one Boorman had been using. One symbol. Just one. He had seen it briefly in the academy’s hidden achirve. It was a circle surrounded by thirteen crescent moons. The exact same symbol his mother had worn around her neck. Draven's heart began pounding. "No..." His voice came out low. Then he remembered something else. The hooded elder inside the ritual chamber. The one Marko had pushed into the blood stream just before being dragged beneath the surface— The elder had screamed something but at the time nobody had understood.
