Zara's POV "Zara, let's eat." said Mama. I immediately approached the dining table which is located not far from the living room. I feel very hungry. On the table there is a lot of food. And, ahh it's nice to see grilled salmon on the dining table. It is my favorite food. I also took my plate and grilled salmon. I can't wait to eat it. "Mom, what's the name of the front neighbor?" I asked with a mouth full of grilled salmon.

Jana stood there, watching the car, as if silently bidding Naomi farewell, before turning and reentering the palace. Meanwhile, Sarah came out of her room holding the crying child in her arms. She smiled, and Jana approached her. She stood in front of Sarah, gently playing with the child until he calmed down. Jana said softly, “It’s as if he senses his mother’s illness and the separation to come.” Sarah replied, “Poor Lady Naomi… she travels in search of hope in life, fleeing from death.” Jana added, “Perhaps today is the last day we see her…” A tear slipped from her eye.

Nana never knew the importance of the sun until she got to this side of the world where the sun would hide under a few clouds and the god of cold would breathe over the the land. “Ah, remdangit!” she exclaimed the way Remusians always said it. Afterwards, she returned to the kitchen and removed the muffins from the oven. She would have set her lunch already to eat without her cottage mate, but she needed a shower after all that work. Fiona said gleefully, pushing her worries away in the presence of Nana. “Hmm,” Nana took a deep breath. “Mr. Robinson never gave me a reason to leave this family, but your stepmother, she is…” Before Nana could finish her sentence, a feminine voice echoed through the room. “Nana! Where the fuck are you?” Jessica’s voice was laced with disgust. “Fiona, I need to go. We’ve got a lot to catch up on,” Nana said and ran off. Fiona’s face wrinkled with a big smile, seeing Nana after a very long time. Nana had been working with them as long as she knew. Nana was her mother’s favorite maid before she died, and thus Nana extended the love Fiona mother had shown her to Fiona.

How?” Nana sighed. “Domarius, darling. I have a box of play things under the shelf in my den. Why don’t you go and play with them while I talk with your mother?”

She extended her wrinkled arm for the requested pinch. “Why do you want to be pinched, Nana?” I asked, taking a seat on the sofa opposite Nana. Nana was sprawled on a sofa in the small cozy living room for family lounging. The big screen TV was on and tuned to a ‘wild animal life’ station when we walked in. Nana had been very engrossed in it but now she didn't seem to pay the koala showing on the screen any attention. “You were holding Glenda?”

She asked slyly. “Certainly not”, Lena said, making me believe she was unaware of Zara’s insinuation. “If you know Nana, you would know that is impossible for her not to attempt to sometimes smother one in affection. You will come to understand what I mean with time”, she said. “And unlike your mate, I am not one to succumb to the power of Motherly affections and risk becoming spoiled”, she said in response to Zara’s insinuation with a sly smile of her own.

Nana looked at Dana, and then at Mason who was calm and said nothing. “If my goddaughter suffers anything, I will hunt you even after my death. Curse you, Tristan Mayer! I hope that you will never be happy and if you will find your happiness, I hope that you will lose it, so you could feel the same way as Zoey! Curse you!” and out of nowhere Nana jumps in the air and she does exactly what the doctor told her not to do.
