I dash back into the cabin, grab my laptop and bolt outside. "This is gonna take a while, okay?" I inform the two animal men, one hopping around the other. The wolf cocks his head to the side, and I offer another smile. I flip my laptop open and open the search engine for names. "Should we go human or dog?" I think out loud. The wolf sneezes and I flinch back, not expecting the sudden outburst. He starts whimpering again and I reach my hand out to reassure him. I pull my hand back to search, but the wolf starts back up again.

The way the soul settles, the beast calms, and everything inside finds balance. The moment you step into its shade, something inside shifts. You’re not just man. Not just wolf. You become one. The instincts that burn in your blood finally have space to breathe. You stop resisting. You surrender to who you truly are. I could see their hesitation and how they struggled to figure me out. “We do not feel your scent on her.” One of the men yelled from the crowd. “I cannot feel her wolf either.” Another voice added. “Forgive me, Alpha but I smell an alien scent…” Another voice shouted. “Well, that’s because she is human. A very weak human.” A familiar voice shouted from the crowd. It was Monica and she had an evil grin all over her face.

Ignoring Mark's messages I text my gamma Zack. Sam: hey man I know it's late but do you want to get away for awhile? Zach: yeah man, anything good? Sam: what would you say to a camping trip? It's to protect a couple of people that are close to me, but there's also humans there to so no shifting. Oh and Mark is a warlock and Rilly is a human. Oh and Zach Dylan is there to so watch him. Zach: ok can you send me pictures of whom I'm looking out for?

It is really odd we're this attracted to someone that doesn't have wolf.
