On my way out of my parents home, a call came in on my phone, the caller's name read Dr Luis. There are Million ways to keep a secret, this was my own way of hiding mine. The caller was Judy, I had saved her contact number with that name so that Amanda could not find out. While we were in human society, Judy and I were connected. We saw each other from time to time. She was my mate who rejected me, but she was also a slut. Having a good time with me was no big deal to her. It was ordinary.

“Eyeing the pot while eating from the bowl. No wonder you always landed on your feet — surviving every disaster…every attack. always managing to come out on top. Now I know why.” “What are you talking about?” I demanded, my voice rising despite myself. But the ferocity in her eyes told me everything — this wasn’t just about tonight. This was hate that had been simmering for a long, long time. And then something clicked. “Wait.” My pulse spiked. “You… you were the one who released those wolves in the cave last time, weren’t you?” Judy’s lips curved into a triumphant smile. “Yes,” she spat, almost proud. “So what? I’ve despised women like you from the beginning — pure on the outside, rotten to

Judy instantly teared up, hiding behind Leonard’s back and tugging at his sleeve weakly. Leonard patted her arm to comfort her and whispered in my ear, “Judy only joined our pack recently. She doesn’t know anyone here, plus she’s naturally timid. Since she’s pregnant now, she shouldn’t drink any alcohol. “Why don’t you take the punishment drinks on her behalf? Convince the Alpha to forgive her.” He shoved me forward before I could say anything, then he raised his wine glass and drained it. “Come on, this is a joyous day! Mia, let’s wish the Alpha a happy birthday and a wonderful life together with his Luna.”

Ridley added with a sigh. “You should catch him,” she added quickly. “I don’t want to end up with my brains all over the wall. I have started self-defense classes just in case. He is not killing me. I assure you.” “Judy,” I called, scratching my head, “How are you so sure that Nick killed your brother? That murder happened a long tome ago?” “That detective and his friend were here earlier, and he told me.” she added, “They even suggested I go somewhere until they catch him. They seemed eager to catch him and I don’t blame them, really. I want him caught, too.”

--- Meanwhile, in a small apartment across town, Judy sat on the edge of a narrow bed. Her eyes were red from crying. Sophia stood in front of her, shocked. “Judy, what happened?” Sophia asked, her voice full of worry. Judy shook her head slowly. “I… I don’t know what I was thinking,” she whispered. Sophia sat beside her. “Tell me everything.” Judy hesitated. Then the memories returned again. The storm. The kiss. The night. Her face turned red with shame. “We… we…” she stammered.

I walked over and cleaned her up examining her at the same time to make sure I hadn’t gone too far. After I wiped her I went back to the bathroom and cleaned myself. I came back out with my clothes back in place. I walked over and tied her dress back up watching the mark disappear behind it. “Thank you Jude. What is your wolf’s name since we haven’t met yet?” Nikkie asked me. Beyond my better judgement I let Ji come forward to speak for himself. He deserved to meet his mate too.

She had no way out now. "I … understand," Judy reluctantly responded. Zachary patted her head. "As long as you continue to act crazy and cooperate with me, I'll have my mom come take care of you. Zack hid behind Dexter, firing back without restraint. Judy fainted from rage. The aftermath was that Judy was confined by Bill, her exact location unknown.
