I locked my car, hiked my sports bag up my shoulders and walked to the the salsa studio I just registered. I was having too much writer's block lately and a week ago, I picked up salsa dancing as a little distraction.
I pushed the door to the studio open, expecting to see my instructor. Instead a brawny looking guy was tapping his feet to the rhythm of a song he was listening to on his headphones . I doubt he heard me come in, but he turned as soon as I came in.
"Hello." I called.
"Hi, Violet. Right?"
I shook his extended hands. "Yes, Violet." I was wondering how he knew my name.
"I'm Diego. I know you're supposed to meet Howard, but he travelled to the countryside this morning. Family emergency. I would be covering for him. Is that okay with you?"
"Oh sure." I was certain Howard must have left me a message. I just haven't had the time to go through my messages, with my book deadline fast approaching.
"If you'll just tell me where you left off with Howard. I'll pick it up from there."
I tucked a stray lock behind my ears. "We've been working on the basic step pattern and I think I've mastered it."
He nodded, settling my focus on his long hair falling over his shoulder. "Okay. Show me what you've got." He held out his hand.
I went into it and molded right aganst his body. Diego was taller than me, but I didn't have to push my head far back to look into his eyes, thanks to my dancing shoes. He took the lead, stepping forward with his left foot and I followed stepping back with my right foot. His hand on my waist was so warm, I could feel it heating my skin deliciously through the fabric of my camisole.
We ended the pattern in a few seconds. "Great." My back was against his chest so the bellow of his voice ran through me.
"So, how about we try another pattern?"
"Sure."
He led another pattern, taking me through each step with patience. As the music pulsed, we moved fluidly, in sync with the rhythm of the music, hips gyrating and our feet tapping out the beat. Diego was a talented dancer and every touch of his hand on my waist, against my skin surprisingly excited me.
We danced, smiling playfully, faces inches apart while every touch fueled me with a delicious high. Whenever our eyes met, I feel a delightful spark. Diego was patient with me and his huge big frame made me feel safe too. When the music came to a stop, we were heaving from exhaustion, eyes locked and reluctant to let go of each other.
"You're a beautiful woman, Violet. And you dance beautifully too."
For the first time since I got married, I felt like someone actually appreciates me. Overcome with emotions, I hugged Diego. He hugged me back and I was in his arms for about a minute. Then I felt Diego grow a boner. The tension was palpable as I looked into his eyes.
In a way that felt totally natural, we leaned towards each other and then our lips met. I felt sweetly feminine in the heat of his embrace and I opened my lips and let him kiss me. His kiss was like a tame tempest. His mouth moved over mine softly, invading my mouth, sucking on my tongue, my lips. I let myself drink from his mouth too. I loved the delicious stirring I felt low between my legs. I stood on my toes, needing to explore deeper.
Diego picked me up, making me giggle as he walked over to an exercise ball nearby and plopped me on it. He pulled down my camisole and unhooked my bra. I threw my head back and moaned as his warm mouth latched onto one nipple.
"Oh God, that is so good." I coo
The way Diego suckled felt like worship. He was so attentive to each nipple, holding my gaze as he did. I felt sweetly delicious.
"You're doing that so good, Diego."
"You're so hot. I want to tear your clothes off right now."
"Oh my God, Diego, the doors! They're not locked." I shreiked in panic.
"Forget the doors. Just relax while I make you feel good."
I only relaxed when his hands moved under my skirt and yanked my thong down. They were so flimsy, they ripped from the tug. Diego shoved my skirt up, baring the sight of my pussy to him.
"Oh God!" He growled and placed a kiss on my pussy lips. I moaned. The sight of him kneeling between my legs, pleasuring me turned me on so much. He licked my folds leisurely, humming in delight. I watched myself in the dance mirrors on the wall across. My face was flushed, my mouth rounded in pleasure.
From the screen doors outside, I saw a group of the other dancers chatting on their way in. "Fuck. People are coming in, Diego."
He didn't stop flicking his tongue over my slit, instead he increased the pace. My eyes darted between the entrance and outside the screen doors again.
"Diego!"
"God, I could eat your pussy forever." He grumbled against me. The sensation of his mouth completely devouring me and the fear of people walking in on us, did it for me. I broke into a spell of release that felt like a full body sneeze. On wobbly legs, I darted across the room to the restroom and clicked the door shut just as I heard the entrance door open.
_______
We managed to get through th evening without arousing anyone's suspicion. Throughout practice, I intentionally sat out the whole practice to avoid Diego, although he kept sneaking glances at me. Much later, I got out along with a couple of the ladies, but Diego caught up with me before I could unlock my car.
"Hey," he had tied his hair up during practice. He was hairy, but his full eyebrows, beard and moustache added to his handsome features.
"Hey Diego."
"Can we go for a short walk?"
"I'm not really in the mood to walk." I let him down slowly.
"Then let me buy you dinner." He tried again.
"I'm sorry, but I'll have to decline."
"Then can we talk about what happened back there?"
I rolled my eyes. "Look Diego, I'm sorry if I led you on, but I'm married, okay? This", I looked for the word, " should have never happened."
He looked as though I'd punched him and I wish I could take back my word, but he was already nodding in understanding. "Sure. I hope you continue your practice with Howard though."
"You can bet on it."
I willed myself not to think about Diego as I drove home. Once in the estate, I thought about checking in on Gaius in his wing before going back to an empty bed, since Dom was on a business trip.
When I entered the living room, I was met with a very drunk Gaius.
"Hey sister-in-law!" He waved. "Just getting in?"
"Yes, Gaius. Why did you drink so much? Something bothering you?" I asked, plopping down beside him.
"Me?" He jabbed at his chest. "Nothing. I'm just happy. Did you have fun on your date?"
My body went taut. "W-what date?"
"With the hot guy, y'know." My heart started pounding in my chest. How did he know? Did someone watch us and tell Gaius. I moved closer to him and collected the glass from him.
"Hey, you can't tell Dom, okay?"
He looked at me and laughed. "You fell for it! Oh, God, I can't believe that."
My face heated up in embarrassment. I hoped he would be too drunk to remember this conversation tomorrow. I'd better leave him alone tonight. I was about to leave when he said. "But you only fell for it because it's true." He tsked. "Don't know what will happen if I tell big brother."
"It was nothing."
"Are you sure? You look nervous?"
"Fine. What do you want me to do? Beg?"
I watch as he did a lazy job of sitting up. "I have a better alternative. Be my next muse."
Confused, I repeated, "Your next muse?"
He looked straight into my eyes, appearing somewhat sober. "I paint human portraits in nude form. Let me paint you and I'll keep your little secret."
Violet "Gaius." I exclaimed, surprised to see him waiting when I stepped outside, Diego behind me. Gaius was dressed in black jean trousers and jacket like he was heading out. "Hey beautiful." He extracted his hands where they were behind him and thrusted a bouquet of red rose forward, catching me by surprise. "For you." "Thank you." I collected it, aware of Diego's presence. I chanced a glance at him, but his face was calm. He extended a hand to Gaius. "You must be Violet's husband."Gaius took his hand without bothering to correct him. "It's a pleasure." Then his gaze came to rest on me. "Picking you up, my goddess. How does dinner sound?" "Dinner?" I asked, my shaky voice mirroring my feelings. "Yeah. All that dancing requires fuel.""Well, I guess I don't need to walk you out anymore." Diego said cooly. Too cool. "Yes, buddy. I'll take it from here." He reached for me, his palm on the small of my back. The touch soothed me as much as it confused me.
Dominic The next day, I was about getting into my car to drive to work when my brother came out of his wing, preparing for his early morning run. He tipped his head in my direction."Hey buddy."I jogged up to him. Gaius slapped my back. "You should work from home sometimes, Dominic. Why do this very morning?" I ignored his question. Gaius never showed any interest in the business. He was content with his paintings. "Have you ever heard of someone named Diego? Someone Violet mentioned in passing?"Gaius paused, searching his memory, then he shook his head. "Doesn't ring any bell. Although, if there's anyone, maybe it's a new guy from her Salsa dance class. She been taking that for a while." I heard the reprimand in Gaius last information, suggesting I might have no idea what she did with her time. "I'm aware," I ground out. "Did you ever meet him?""No. Why are you asking these questions?" I glanced at Gaius. "I just have a bad feeling about him."Eyes narrowed, Gai
Diego I froze with my glass of wine still mid air for a second and I had to look twice to be sure, in case I'd misread it. Her message glowed on my phone. 'What you up to, boy? I'm horny.'All this while, I'd maintained my restraint, burying the heat of my affection and desires. I'd been careful, respectful even though I wanted more with Violet. And now, Violet was undoing all that by just one text. She'd been so beautiful tonight. And that dance - God! I'd wanted her to remain in my arms forever. It took a lot of practiced control to not get a hard on on that dance platform. She was the one crossing that line now. I set the glass down and picked up my phone to type my response. 'You’re playing with fire, Violet. I’ve wanted you since the second I laid eyes on you. Don’t text me that unless you’re ready for me to show up and make you forget every man who’s ever touched you.' The silence after I hit send stretched into several minutes and I started to regret my respo
DiegoThe atmosphere was pulsing with the chatter of people, slow soothing music that inspired a few to tap their feet on the dance platform. The space wasn't too crowded, but the people weren't few either and I moved through the room, laughing with the regulars, making the newcomers feel welcome while trying to enjoy the party myself. But through it all, my eyes kept straying towards the entrance, waiting, hoping for her arrival. When, she eventually arrived, I blew a breath of relief. In jeans and a cold shoulder top, her hair in a ponytail, she looked simple yet breathtaking. When our eyes met, her lips pulled in a small smile that went straight to my heart. It was all the encouragement I needed to walk up to her. "I'm surprised you came." I said, careful to keep my voice light. We were just getting back on neutral ground and I don't want to scare her with my feelings. She shrugged, her hands digging into the back pockets of her jeans. . "I figured I could use a break.""Exactl
Violet I flipped the eggs over in the pan, savouring the silence in the house while my eggs sizzled and mentally constructing the next scene for my novel. My laptop was seating beside my mug of tea, the cursor blinking questionably at me, knowing the deadline for my publisher was creeping in and while I was close to wrapping up the book, some chapters still remained and a couple others needed to be rewritten. I turned off the gas and slipped my eggs on a plate, adding crispy bacon, melted cheese and toast before settling down in front of my laptop. While I ate, my phone lighted up to show a message pop up. It was Dominic. 'Forgot some documents in my home office. I'm coming to get them.'It's been almost a week of Dominic doing his possible best to avoid me. He worked till late, getting home at night, only to be out very early before I'm awake. It hurt, but I was slowly withdrawing from getting him to see me. Besides, I still felt betrayed by his admission about getti
Violet When I woke up in the morning, I was washed by an overwhelming sense of guilt. The sunlight spilling across the sheets and the warmth of the room did nothing to soothe me. What have I done? Gaius was my brother-in-law and I'd slept with him. Last night, I had not been thinking when I ran out of the house and into Gaius's arms. All I wanted was to proof to myself that I was still desirable. And Gaius had proved that I was. The soreness between my legs were a sweet reminder of everything we did last night. Still, the guilt didn't go away. I rushed out of bed naked and hurriedly found my robe. I looked around for my panties and when I didn't find it, I banished the search and left the room. Downstairs, the scent of coffee was inviting. Gaius was in the kitchen, terribly good looking with his hair tousled and chest, bare. He was flipping something in a pan like this was normal. Like we did this all the time. He looked over his shoulder and smiled softly. "Hey, you're
