Amber’s POV

"Y-Yes, Dad, how late are you going to be?" I asked my father over the phone, trying to hide my nervousness.

"Like an hour," he responded.

"Alright, I will wait," I said, taking a deep breath before walking back into the school. I found a wooden bench and distracted myself with games on my phone, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched.

The sound of loud footsteps filled my ears, and I looked away from my phone as my eyes landed on Xavier. I swallowed hard, it was like I was swallowing a rock, and his handsome face was mirroring the emotions tearing through him.

"Mate!" Raven automatically recognized him as our mate, but I was taken aback by his cold demeanor.

His face turned red with anger as he stood in front of me, accompanied by two other students, who seemed to be his minions.

"Mine." My wolf's declaration seemed unbelievable, considering his aggressive behavior.

He approached me with a demanding tone. "I told you to come and see me after school, didn’t I?" he questioned, grabbing my right arm without waiting for my consent.

"Let go of me! Who the hell do you think you are? Why would I meet up with you? I barely even know you, even if you happen to be my fucking mate!" I responded, pulling my hand away and stepping back.

He was taken aback by my defiance, but his green eyes burned with fury, and lava was literally coming out of his ears. "I'm Xavier, your fucking mate and prince charming, all the she-wolves are dying to be my mate, you ungrateful bitch!" he yelled, attempting to brush a strand of hair from my face.

"I don’t give a damn who you are, or if other she-wolves are dying to be with you, I want nothing to do with you, so just leave me alone!" I yelled back, my voice all sharp edges.

But my words landed on deaf ears as he took another step closer to me and attempted to touch me.

Unable to contain my anger any longer, I slapped him hard across the face. His head flew back, and he held his right cheek in pain, glaring at me as his eyes turned yellow.

"No girl has ever dared to hit me, and it won't start with you. You ugly shit, I was just trying to manage you," he growled like a bulldog and snapped his fingers.

His minions both came forward and stood behind him, their faces expressionless, and he seemed to whisper something to them, and their eyes lit up, and a creepy smile appeared on their faces.

"Leave me alone!" I pleaded, trying to escape, to run away from them. But before I could run, he caught up to me, lifting me in his arms with little to no effort.

"Let go of me, you jerk!" I screamed as I pounded my fist on his back, but he didn’t budge. He carried me forcefully into the nearest classroom, while one of his henchmen locked the door behind us.

My heart was a pounding mess as I fought back, hitting his back and yelling for help. "Help! Help! Help! Somebody, help!"

"Put me down! Why are you doing this to me? I am your mate, for goodness’s sake!" I shouted, but he ignored my pleas. He placed me on an empty desk, and one of his goons held my hands above my head, trapping me in place.

"I wanted to accept you as my mate, despite your rank, protect and look after you, but you just have to make things hard, don’t you?" He questioned, his voice getting on my nerves. "Let’s have a look at your precious little tits."

His words sent cold chills down my spine, and blood rushed to my head. "P…Please," I managed to say, but he didn’t listen.

Xavier started to unbutton my shirt, and fear coursed through my veins. I desperately fought against them, twisting and struggling to free myself from their strong grips. One of my hands slipped out of the hold of his minion, and I slapped Xavier across the face again, harder this time.

Red blood oozed out of his nose, and he retaliated with a quick, harsh slap that left a sting on my cheek. "Let me go!!" I cried out, but he silenced me by shoving his handkerchief into my mouth.

I felt violated and helpless as he removed my jacket, exposing my inner shirt. Panic climbed up my throat, and the ringing tone of my phone cut through the air, and without even looking at my phone, I could tell that it was my father calling.

"Let me go, you sons of bitches!" My words exploded with frustration as I fought even harder, driven by the determination to break free.

Xavier stood beside me, unbuckling his belt, while the other minion ogled. But just as Xavier approached, I gathered all my strength and remembered all the last night's lessons of martial arts with Daniel and kicked him in the manhood.

He let out a high-pitched scream, clutching his dick in pain. Without wasting much time, he and his minions were distracted. I quickly got off the desk, grabbed my jacket, hit the other minion who tried to stop me in the face, and ran out of the classroom as fast as I could.

"Alpha Xavier, are you okay?" I heard his henchmen asking him in the classroom.

"Leave me alone and go after that bitch, you moron!" Xavier screamed at the top of his lungs.

My breaths rushed out in ragged pants as I ran to the massive gates of the school with all my might. I looked over my shoulder and saw one of his minions chasing after me, yelling at me to stop, but I didn’t listen.

Adrenaline pumped harder through my veins and kicked my heart into overdrive as I ran out of the open gates as if my life depended on it, and maybe it did. Fat tears rolled like pearls down my cheeks, and my gaze drifted to my father.

He rested against the door of the car, concern engraved on his face, waiting for me. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to catch my breath. "L... let’s go home," I managed to say, avoiding his questions and confusion.

"Um, I…" I couldn't find the words to explain what had just happened. My father seemed puzzled, but he obliged as I climbed into the seat next to the driver’s. He entered after me and put on his seat belt before starting the car and driving away from the school.

Once we arrived home, I stormed out of the car and slammed the door shut and made my way into the house. My mother tried to speak to me, but I completely ignored her.

"What’s wrong, honey?" she questioned, her eyes filled with concern.

"I don't want to go back to that stupid school!" I said, my voice rose until I was yelling. "The people there are all sick in the fucking head!"

"Language, pumpkin. What do you mean you don't want to go back?" My father cut in, his face serious.

"What did they do to you?" Daniel inquired, joining the conversation.

"Two he-wolves. They... they tried to…to…" I stammered, unable to say anything as hot tears burned my eyes.

My mother pulled me into a tight hug, offering comfort and support, but it did nothing to ease the way I was feeling. "Calm down, my dear. We will find a way to make things right," she whispered soothingly.

"I hate how they treat me. They bully me because I'm different," I sobbed, the weight of the torment bearing down on me. My family listened attentively, anger and concern engraved on their faces.

"Are you serious?" she whispered, her voice filled with disbelief.

"Yes, Mom," I sobbed, seeking solace in her comforting hug. "I won't…I can’t…return to that school."

"We shouldn't rush into anything. Tomorrow, we will report this to the teachers and take the necessary steps," my mother suggested, gently pulling away from the hug.

Daniel joined the conversation, his hands squeezed into fists. "Tell me what those bastards looked like so I can find them and make them pay," he growled, his fangs bared.

"Let's not make hasty decisions," Mom intervened. "I think you should report this to the authorities tomorrow, that’s the only way to get back at them."

"I hate that this happened, but going back to that school isn't an option," I insisted, storming off to my room and slamming the door shut.

The horrible day’s events came over me from the inside out, like giant jaws opening to swallow me whole.

My legs buckled beneath me, and my back slid against the wooden door. I pulled my feet up on the floor and hugged my arms around my knees, holding as my eyes welled up again.

My family’s voices echoed through the door. "They have pushed her too far," Daniel remarked.

"We thought that school would be the best for her, considering its reputation, but it seems it’s nothing to write home about," Mom responded, her voice filled with regret.

As they pondered the situation, my mother knocked on my door. "Honey, please open up. Let's talk," she pleaded.

However, anger and fear held me captive inside the walls of my room. I was determined—I would not return to that school.

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 24 NEW COUPLE

Amber's POVThe moment we both strolled into the cafeteria, I felt it. Every pair of eyes turned to us, me and Alpha Xavier, our hands intertwined. Gasps of shock filled the air, high-pitched and bitter, as whispers moved around the room like a breeze across a still river. The students never missed a change in relationship dynamic, and it felt like they were all up in my business.“They are,” Raven commented. “You are the only omega in this elite school who has managed to catch the attention of the two most powerful alphas here.”“What is going on? The number one bad boy, Alpha Xavier, also known as the ultimate school bully, is dating that Black omega now?” One student snorted, clearly forgetting I could hear perfectly well.“I don’t buy this bullshit,” another whispered bitterly. “He is dating that ugly duckling? I have been crushing on him since last winter, and he has never even looked at me, not even once, but here? I must say he has poor taste in women.”Xavier leaned d

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 23 GIRLFRIEND

Amber’s POVI took the smoothie from Alpha Xavier with both hands, smiling wider than I probably should have. I had forgotten today was the day I was supposed to give him my answer. And guess what? I still didn’t have one.“What do you mean you don’t have one?” Raven questioned in my head. “The answer is as clear as day, this Alpha is hot as hell, and he is also our mate. What more can we ask for? Or are you in love with Alpha Mason or something? Do you like that toxic alpha?”“I don’t like any of the Alphas!” I snapped back at her and shut her off.Moon goddess, save me now.“Can you leave us alone?” Xavier inquired, turning to Nate. His voice wasn’t aggressive, but it had that harsh undertone, that Alpha-like growl he did when he was trying to act calm.Nate leaned into me, his breath warm against my earlobe. “Should I go?”I hesitated and nodded, not trusting myself to speak.“Okay,” he murmured, but before leaving, he did that thing with his two fingers pointing at his eye

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 22 THE ANNOUNCEMENT

Amber's POV Watching Daniel and Bella kiss in front of me was like getting hit in the face with a wet sock. I mean, seriously? Right in front of me? I rolled my eyes so hard I thought they might get stuck in their sockets. My wolf gave a low growl of frustration inside me.“Why do they keep shoving their relationship in our face? They are mates who are lucky to be together, we know.” Raven lamented. It’s not even about Daniel, he is my brother, but seeing them together just reminded me of what I didn’t have. No, mate. No love. No attention except the undesirable kind from Alpha Mason and the puzzling type from Xavier. Was I supposed to like Xavier? Should I accept him? Ugh. I didn’t know. And I hated not knowing. “Good evening, my love,” Daniel mumbled, kissing Bella on the lips like we weren’t all standing right there. His lips parted hers in a soul-reaching massage, and she succumbed to the forceful domination of his lips. He kissed the pulsing hollow at the base

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 21 THE THREAT

Amber's POVI waited for the last class to finish before rushing in to grab my bag. The moment the bell resounded in the halls, I ran into the main hall like a hungry wolf chasing after prey. My nose twisted, everyone’s scent still lingered in the hallway, strong and overwhelming, but I picked out Nate’s scent immediately as I walked into the courtyard. He was standing in the middle of the courtyard, talking to Elsa. Were they… friends?I walked over sluggishly, catching the sound of her loud giggle. She was laughing at everything Nate was saying, like he was the funniest person she had ever met. “Are you guys friends?” I questioned, squinting at her. My voice came out sharper than intended. “No offense.” “None taken, we just became friends,” Nate replied quickly, flashing me a toothy smile. “Elsa, meet Amber, my best friend.” He nudged me, and my eyes widened in astonishment. Best friend?I tried not to smile too much, but my cheeks betrayed me. “Nice to meet you, Elsa,” I be

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 20 THE JANITOR'S CLOSET

Author's POV “I can’t try. I’m scared of rejection, and I haven’t found my mate either, maybe it’s for the best,” Nate remarked, his voice soft, like a pup confessing a forbidden secret.Amber smiled gently at him, her yellowish-brown eyes shiny underneath the dimly lit cafeteria. “Just try. There is no harm in trying and seeing if this fantasy of yours can become a reality,” she beamed, her tone filled with warmth and the pale growl of reassurance only another wolf could pick up on. Nate hesitated, rubbing his hands together nervously. “So… when should I try?” he questioned.“Tomorrow,” Amber replied resolutely, stretching her arms above her head with a small yawn. Her muscles ached from the stress of the day, and her wolf moved inside her, restless. “I can’t believe I have a friend who accepts me for who I am,” Nate commented with a ruffle of his ear, his eyes glossy with tears.“I don’t care about your sexuality. I like you for who you are,” Amber said, nudging his shoulder. “

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 19 HER LOVE INTEREST

Amber's POVI reached forward and handed the chef my food card, trying to keep my voice calm even though my heart was going haywire and the smile stretching across my face was impossible to control. “No, you don’t have to,” I beamed, my eyes flickering toward Xavier. “I will pay myself.”The chef hesitated for a beat, glancing between both cards.“Take mine,” I repeated more determinedly.“No, take mine,” Xavier urged, pushing his own card closer. “My card is unlimited.” “Um, I will just take your boyfriend’s,” the chef murmured, reaching for Alpha Xavier’s.A blush tinted the apples of my cheeks. “What?! He…he is not my boyfriend,” I protested, but it was already too late.“Let it go,” Xavier stated, grabbing his card back from the chef like it was nothing. “It’s a little something to win over your heart, soon you will be mine.”“I am already yours, Xavier,” Raven replied in my head. “Say it, girl, this is your chance.”I rolled my eyes and completely ignored her. Nate stepped u
