Chapter 1: Returning To The Past

2021-10-22 16:06:08In a dark alleys, As the wind blew, a overwhelming stench of decaying and rotten smell permitted the air. The moon in the night sky are covered in dark clouds and only few moonlights are peeking through.
In one of the dark alley, A slender and tall figure can be seen swaying and staggering while walking, indicating that the figure cannot walk properly, and his back was slightly hunched forward as his right hand that was covered in black glove was pressed in his chest, attempting to stop the blood that's been pouring out from his left wounded chest!
The man inhaled deeply and suddenly, a noise rang out in the silent cold smelly surrounding.
*Baam*
The man fell down in the dirty ground facing the sky. The man eyes is full of tiredness but it cannot be concealed the craziness and the hatred in that beautiful mesmerising silver eyes.
Suddenly, the man laughed in a mocking tone as his voice drifted to the silent dark surrounding, not minding the unpleasant smell that came from all directions.
"Who would have thought that This Prince would die here? Even though This Prince is going to die, This Prince will still cursed you to death, you Ingrate! This Prince hope that you will regret bringing this world into chaos!"
As the man finished his words, he cannot stop coughing blood again as he can already feel that his time in leaving in this rotting and smelly world is approaching.
'Imperial Father, Imperial Mother, I'm sorry... I cannot fulfil my promise to returned. I... I... Yu... Er...'
Before the young man can even finish his thoughts , he took his one last breath. But at the same time his one last breath left his mortal body, a silver light suddenly shot out from his forehead towards the dark hazy sky!
The silver light became a pillar of light and all the people in the corner of the world suddenly became startled as they all felt a frightening aura that came in every directions. It was very sudden and all the people doesn’t know what to do except became vigilant in case there is a danger that will took their life.
While the people in Edrinon who saw the silver pillar of light got scared and confused as they saw with their own eyes that the pillar of silver light suddenly started to rotate as it is began to take form into a silver vortex!
Because of the frightening force that came from the silver light, those certain people with a high statuses who are in the middle of a meeting in Imperial Capital, suddenly stood up startled as they immediately run towards the French window and take a look at the pillar of silver light in the night sky.
The light became thinner and thinner until it completely disappeared, while the only thing that is remaining in the dark sky is the silver vortex that continuously to expand in tens of thousands of kilometres, as it began to illuminate every corner of the Edrinon Land.
"T-This. Your Majesty, The C-Crown.. The Crown Prince!"
"H-How could the crown prince died!"
"There's. There's no w-way that this is H-Happening!"
"T-This must be a dream!"
The meeting room suddenly got chaotic as some of the men stuttered as they talk while disbelief and shocked were written in their faces as they watch the silver vortex in the sky that continuously expand.
But the noisiness of the room didn't even lasted for few minutes as the people who we're panicking suddenly became quiet when they heard a deep sigh.
All the people turned to the direction where the sigh came from. A man who appeared to be in his late twenties are seen standing in front of the French window as the man stood at 1.8meters while in his right side, a woman can be seen standing as she looks the same age as the man. Both of them are quiet the moment they saw the silver light as they continuously gaze at the silver cortex in the sky.
"Y-You're M-Majesty. You're High-Highess Empress."
The people inside the room cannot help but called out in stuttering manner as their fear and panicked were registered in those faces who usually stays calm most of the time yet at this point of time, they really cannot care about their statuses and bearings, as all of them turn to look at the two person who is standing side by side, because they know that this two people is the only one who can make a decision regarding the sudden death of the crown prince!The two called out person ignore the people in the room as the woman who was addressed as Empress raise her hand as she grip the arm of his husband, the Emperor as she muttered softly in sadness while restraining her tears to fall down.
"Our son already did all he can do in this past decades to alter his destiny, but in the end, he still failed to do it." "This only proved that no matter what we do, we really cannot defy the destiny that set to us." The emperor said sadly as he lowered his head as he hugged his wife, as he continued; "But, As you can see, He still are not willing to succumb. He practiced the forbidden technique left by our founding ancestor even though no one can activated it in this past thousand years. He said that it might be useful in the future but who would have thought, that he really manage to use it. Because the forbidden technique is activated, that means that he really already died. But Going back in the past doesn't mean that he certainly remember what is happening during this past decade." "Ah Zhen, I'm afraid. What if he forgets what happened this time when he go back in the past? Or what if he gone back in time when the apocalypse already began? Wouldn't it waste our son's efforts?He already suffered enough in this life, I don't want him to experience it all over again." — The empress couldn't help but said as she gripped his husband hand tighter, until her nails dug deep into his husband skin.
"Let's believe him my dear. I have a feeling that the one in the prophecy of our ancestor is our son." The emperor murmured. The empress buried her head in his husband chest as she cannot stop her tears from falling anymore.
