Cody

"I remembered something." Snow says softly. "But I have a headache."

"You remembered something. What did you remember?" Sam inquires.

I half smile and then frown, remembering that she'll be seeing a doctor to run some tests on her and therapist to help her recover her memories. Snow will be owing me a lot.

I speed up, wanting to reach home early.

"I remembered posting my last F******k post." Snow narrates and I pay attention to both her and the road . "I was sitting behind my computer, typing something. I remember that that was after I posted that message on F******k. But I couldn't make out what I was working on behind my computer."

"Well, it's better than nothing I guess." Sam lets out a small smile, trying to cheer Snow up. "It's baby steps. You don't have to stress too much about remembering yout past life. It will all come to you." She says.

"Thanks Sam."

We finally arrive at my house and I drive through the automatic gates to the garage. Sam, Snow and I quickly walk into the house after I turned off the engine of my car.

It's almost dinner time but Sam has to get home to her daughter so I ask my driver to drop her off at her place while I prepare dinner for Snow and I.

Snow has been awfully quiet since she remembered something about her past. I read a worried expression on her face but I didn't want to care even though something was pushing me to.

"Go to your room and relax. Don't stress too much." I tell her and she nods then walks away to her room.

Today has been a long day.

*****

The only sounds made in the dining room were the clinking sounds of our plates and cutlery. Snow and i sit in silence eating our food. We don't talk to each other and we don't make eye contact.

The silence between would've have been normal to me but now it is just deafening and uncomfortable.

I get up and put away my plate. I start washing the utensils but Snow stops me.

"Let me take care of this." I nod and begin to walk out.

"Cody." I stop in my tracks and turn to her. "Thanks for letting me stay with you, for helping me find out my identity and for everything else." She says with a smile which I couldn't mirror. I don't say anything and with a blank expression, I nod at her.

"Tomorrow, Sam will go with you to see a doctor. My driver will take you tomorrow." I say and exit the kitchen.

I walk straight to my study and complete the work I couldn't get done today. I'm completely exhausted but I keep working. I have to get everything done or else they'll be more waiting for me at my desk in the office tomorrow.

I feel myself falling asleep after a few hours. A knock on my door wakes me up.

"Come in." I respond.

Snow walks in with a cup of what I assume to be coffee. How did she..? I raise my brow at her as she walks towards my desk.

"I couldn't sleep and decided to walk around. I noticed that the lights were on and I guessed you were probably working. So I made coffee. For you."

She places the mug on my desk and looks at me nervously. I stare at the mug and look her again.

"How did you....?"

"It just came to me. I just starting put stuff together before I even realised that I was making coffee." She smiles. She's excited, probably because she was able to make coffee...that......that smells really good.

I take the mug and sip it, hoping it tastes as good as it smells. Snow gazes at me while I taste the beverage.

"It's good." I say, nodding. Snow smiles. "It's not bad. Thank you."

"Okay. Then I'll leave you to keep working. Good night Mr Wells."

"Good night Snow." I say and Snow leaves the room.

Honestly, Snow's coffee is very delicious. It's better than any coffee I've ever tasted, even Sam's. And that's saying something because Sam is one of the best cooks I know.

I smile and get back to my work.

*****

I panicked and jumped out of my bed. I stop to look around and realize that my house isn't on fire. But I still smell smoke. Suddenly, I hear someone screaming from downstairs.

I rush downstairs and into my corridor, which is now full of smoke. As I walk in the direction of the source of the smoke and screams, I cover my nose with my hand and enter the kitchen to find Snow behind the gas cooker. Whatever she was making probably burnt up. Luckily, the fire's out. But now there's smoke everywhere. It's a good thing the sprinklers didn't go off.

At the present time, Snow is holding a fire extinguisher in her hand so I guessed she put the fire out with it.

"What the hell Snow?" I question her and cough, the smoke choking me.

I quickly open every window in my house, allowing the smoke to diffuse outside.

"What the hell were you trying to do?" I ask her again.

"When I woke up this morning, I made coffee for myself and an idea came to me as I enjoyed it. I thought since I make great coffee then I probably also know how to cook."

"So you put yourself to the test?” I raise my brows and scoff when she nodded.

"Yes. And I was wrong. I'm terrible at cooking." She tells me and pouts. I sigh and she quickly speaks again. "I'll clean up and leave the kitchen to you. Give me a few minutes." Then she starts cleaning up.

Walking back up to my room to get dressed for work, I hear a knock on my door. I answer the door and greet Sam. I immediately frown when I see her. I wasn't expecting anybody until I remembered she's here for Snow.

"Good morning Sir. What's with the frown?" She teases me and I let her in.

"You're the only friend I have and yet whenever I see you, I'm reminded that you're not my favourite person." Sam drops her jaw dramatically and I walk away with a smirk. We usually do this. We insult or make fun of each other, but not in a harsh way.

After an hour, I'm done dressing up. I walk downstairs and sit at the dining table with my breakfast before me. I begin to devour it. Sam prepared this obviously since she still has an apron on with stains on the apron.

"Sam. As I told you yesterday, I want to remind you that you're taking Snow to a hospital today. Call me after you see the doctor. And call me if you need something. The call must only be made when it's very urgent ." I scowl at Sam and she snickers, knowing exactly what I mean by that.

Snow “So as I was saying,” I continue after, putting the phone on charge. “Carlos loves you and I’m pretty sure he’ll do anything to be with you.” Miranda gasps. “You really think so.” “I know so. Teenage love is easier to identify. So beautiful and tenderly, so kind.” I sigh dramatically and we both burst into laughter. “Ok. Now I’m starving. Let’s go and find the girls and then later, we have breakfast. If my stomach rumbles again, don’t let it surprise you when I head in the direction of the breakfast lounge.” Miranda giggles and we both head out. I ask her to try calling Daya before we went to her room in the hotel. Then we bump into Cody. Miranda gasps dramatically. We gaze at each other for a while before she walks away, still giggling. Then I turn to Cody and raise a brow at him. He smiles at me and pulls me back into a my room. “What are you doi-“ He covers my mouth before I’m able to finish my sentence. Then he smashes his lips on mine, kissing me with need. He swallows my

Snow The days went by quickly as we prepared towards the wedding. Everyone was present a week before the day of the wedding. My aunt and uncle, Andre, Cody and Lee, Serena and some other friends of Cody and I. Daya and the planner triple checked everything to make sure that the decorations, food, my wedding dress, Cody’s wedding tuxedo, invitations and everything else was on point. The guests had already started arriving. Cody and I were grateful to see those who could make it and we kept expecting more of our guests to arrive. Inwardly, I was very happy that Ruby was being helpful. Lee planned pre-wedding celebrations for Cody and I to have fun before the day of our wedding ceremony. Dave, Daya’s husband joined in on the fun. I had my bridal shower three days ago and it was lovely. I had lots of fun with my family and friends. Knowing Lee, it was wild as it was expected, but we didn’t mind. On the next day, there was rehearsal dinner. It also went on smoothly until Lee started firew

Cody “Serena, have you made reservations for lunch?” “I have, Mr. Wells. I wasn’t sure of what to do since Mrs. Wells isn’t here so I just made reservations for two.” “Can you cancel? And did you just call my fiancé Mrs. Wells?” I look up at her, a smile creeping on my lips. Serena smiles and nods. “Mr. Wells asked me to call her that since you’ll be married in the next two months. In his words, ‘It wouldn’t hurt to start calling her Mrs. Wells. Those two were practically married before Cody decided to make it official.’” I chuckle. “Lee said that?” “He did, Sir.” She answers. “Alright. Just cancel my plans for lunch. I’ll be spending my lunch break talking to Snow.” “Or instead of cancelling, Lee and I can go and have lunch together. Just the two of us. That isn’t a bad idea, right?” “Of course not. Not at all.” I wink at her, making her blush. She excuses herself and exits my office. Before I hired Serena as my assistant, she was a waiter at Duquette’s café. My secretary wh

Snow "We're here Daya." I say happily settling down on my bed in our hotel suite. "That's great. You're at the hotel right? "Yeah." "I'm sure you'll find Carlos wondering around with his grandmother. If you do, let him drive you to Marco's Pastry Place. But if not, let me know. I'm kind of busy here at the bakery so I'll see you when you get here." "You're busy this evening?" "Yeah. Dave's father is hosting a small party for his friends and I'm in charge of the food. I need to get everything done on time. Then we can hang out afterwards." "Sure, but which of his grandmothers is he here with?" I try to hide the panic in my voice. Daya laughs. "That'll be a surprise for you." "A cruel one if it's Ruby." She bursts into laughter again. "Alright. I'll see you and Miranda when you get here. Have fun." Then she hangs up. "Andy." I call out. "Yes Mom?" " I just called Daya. She said Carlos is around. You can call him if you want." "I've already done that, he'll be here any seco

  • Making Memories With Ceo Mr Wells    Chapter 82

Snow “Miranda?” I knock on her door. “Can I come in?” I ask softly. The door opens and Miranda looks up at me. “You can come in.” She opens the doors wider and lets me in. I walk to her desk and have a seat on her chair. “Is there anything I can help you with, Mom?” “I wanted to talk to you.” “Come have a seat on the bed with me. It’s good that you brought this up.” I look at her with furrowed brows. “It is?” I ask her and she nods. I sit beside her on the bed, kicking off my shoes and crossing my legs so that I’m sitting opposite her in the same position. She urges me to speak and I continue but then I ask her, “what is it that you think I’m bringing up here? I want to be sure that we’re on the same page here.” “Aren’t you here to talk about us? You and I?” She waves her finger between us. “I am.” “Let me apologize first. I’ve always wanted to but I didn’t know how to bring it up.” “Don’t worry about that Miranda.” “No. I want to apologize for my attitude towards you. I’m r
