Davies knew Lois was not happy about his choice of tutoring for Emily but he had to pick the best for her, for the course she chose.
Allen was the best option, it has been over 3 years now and he hoped that Allen should have been over the fact that Garrett could never love her, a look at Lois told him that she was not accepting his explanation or seeing things the way he was seeing it.
He walked ahead of her and she followed him, trying to tell him how bad his decision is, he did not answer her and she got angry at him, she walked passed him to their room and went straight to bath and to bed without talking to him again, not that he mind, he knew by tomorrow she would have let go of her anger.
