Olivia’s POV

I stared at the stranger, trying to wrap my head around what he was saying. “You’re offering me a place to stay with your pack?” I asked, wanting to make sure I’d heard him right.

He nodded, his golden eyes shining in the moonlight. “You need protection,” he said.

I paused, unsure of what to do. Part of me was desperate for a safe place to call home, but another part of me was wary of trusting someone I barely knew. No one had ever offered me kindness without expecting something in return. Especially not after everything I’d been through.

I looked into his eyes, searching for any sign of insincerity. But all I saw was genuine concern.

“Why are you doing this for me?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

His expression softened. “Because you need help,” he said. “And I think you’re worth saving.”

I felt a lump form in my throat. No one had ever been this kind to me before. At that moment, I knew I had a choice to make. I could keep running, or I could take a chance on this stranger and his pack.

I took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay,” I said, my voice shaking slightly. “I’ll join your pack.”

He smiled and led me out of the forest. We walked in silence for a while, the only sound being the rustling of leaves beneath our feet. As we approached the village, he called out to a tall, muscular man with a kind face.

“Rubben!”

“Please take our new pack member to the small cabin and help her settle in,” he said.

Rubben nodded and smiled at me. “Welcome to the pack. I’m Rubben, the Alpha’s beta.”

I nodded back at him, feeling a sense of gratitude. “Thanks,” I said.

Rubben led me to a small cabin on the outskirts of the village. “This is where you’ll be staying,” he said. “Feel at home.”

I nodded, taking in my new surroundings. The cabin was cozy, with a fire crackling in the hearth. I felt a sense of relief wash over me as I realized I finally had a place to call my own.

Over the next few days, I learned that the stranger’s name was Simeon, and he was the leader of the pack. One night, as we sat by the fire, Simeon turned to me.

“What are you running from?” he asked, his eyes piercing mine.

I hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about Simeon’s expression made me trust him.

“I’m running from Damien,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Simeon’s eyes narrowed. “Who is Damien?” he asked, his voice firm but gentle.

I took a deep breath, letting the memories wash over me. “He’s…he’s the father of my child,” I said, my voice shaking slightly.

Simeon’s expression darkened. “What did he do to you?” he asked, his voice low and husky.

I took another deep breath, unsure and continued.

“He tried to force me to get rid of my pregnancy,” I said, my voice cracking with emotion. “And…and he humiliated me. We had a relationship, and he made me feel worthless. He cheated on me, and when I found out, he laughed in my face.”

Simeon’s expression darkened further. “You’re safe now,” he said, his voice low and husky.

As he listened to my story, I saw a flicker of something in his eyes – something that looked almost like revenge.

“Olivia,” he said, his voice low and husky. “I have a proposal for you.”

I looked at him warily, unsure of what he was going to say.

“I want you to become my Luna,” he said, his eyes burning with intensity.

I was taken aback. “Why?” I asked, my voice shaking slightly.

Simeon’s expression turned cold. “Because Damien would hate it,” he said. “And I want to hurt him.”

I felt a surge of surprise. I hadn’t expected Simeon to be motivated by revenge.

But as I looked into his eyes, I saw something there that gave me pause. Something that looked almost like a deep-seated hatred.

“Who are you?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Simeon’s expression turned cold. “I’m the one who’s going to help you get revenge on Damien,” he said. “And I’m the one who’s going to make you mine.”

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized the truth. Simeon wasn’t just a kind stranger who had taken me in. He was a man with a hidden agenda, driven by a desire for revenge.

And I was just a pawn in his game.

I looked at Simeon, trying to understand what he was saying.

“Olivia, I know this is a lot,” he said. “But becoming my Luna is the best way to get back at Damien. You’ll be safe with me.”

I felt a surge of emotions. No one had ever offered to protect me like that before.

“What’s between you and Damien?” I asked.

Simeon’s face turned cold. “Let’s just say we have a complicated past,” he said.

I nodded, unsure what to think. But I knew I had to trust him.

I hesitated, “Okay, I’ll do it,” I said. “I’ll become your Luna.”

Simeon smiled and hugged me. “Thank you, Olivia,” he said. “We’ll make Damien pay.”

Two months had past, I stood in a crimson flowing dress, my baby bump poking at Simeon who held my hand, staring at me like I was the prettiest she-wolf in the universe.

He leaned closer to me, and whispered “Don’t be nervous.”

I nodded, feigning a brave look as I straightened my shoulder. How do I stay confident in front of so many people? It was our mating ceremony and every elite in the pack and many other pack members were gathered around under the full moon night gawking at us.

“Do you, Alpha Simeon, take Olivia as your chosen mate and Luna of the Blackthorn pack?” The native seer asked.

Simeon’s eyes flashed. “I do.” My heart thudded, tears filled up my eyes, I blinked to hold it in, but one escaped and rolled down my cheek. “Under the full moon, I swear by the moon goddess, that I will wipe every tear from your eyes. I will make them all pay for hurting you.”

I gasped, as all the tears pumped out of my eyes. I pursed my lips as we locked eyes together.

“Do you Olivia take Alpha Simeon as your chosen mate and accept to be the Luna of the Blackthorn pack?”

I was mute, my head felt numb and my mind was blank. I stared at Simeon, my tongue tied.

His grip on my hand tightened. “Olivia?” I only blinked.

The seer cleared his throat and asked again, this time louder to make sure I heard him. “Miss, Olivia, do you take Alpha Simeon as your chosen mate and accept to be the Luna of the Blackthorn pack?”

“I– I do.”

“Alpha Simeon, you may mark your mate, Luna Olivia.”

My heart throbbed as Simeon stepped closer. The back of my neck burned as his finger slithered onto my skin. “Just a little pain.” He growled against my skin.

My sweaty hands went for his chest, I grabbed his shirt and pressed my eyes shut when I felt his fangs grazing my neck. I felt a sharp pain as he went in, my knees buckled and he held me up against his hard chest.

“There,” he groaned after he pulled out and licked the spot. Then came pleasure, a sweet yearning sensation flooded my sensory organs like an electric shock. I gasped as I leaned against him. My vision was hazy.

  • The Alpha’s Banished Mate   Chapter 118

Olivia’s POV I stared at the bowl of watery soup in front of me, the same one Reuben had brought earlier with that smug look on his face, daring me to poison myself with spoilt food. It had not taken me long to decide that I would not be eating it. Even if I had been starving, I would not have touched something that looked so much like dirty water. I had spent the entire night turning over possibilities in my head, trying to think of how I could get out of this hell with Jeremy. I could not seem to come up with any viable plan given that I did not even know what this place looked like. The only place I knew was the room in which I had been locked up. The options that came to mind did not appear realistic, the only thing I could think of was taking an illness. .I glanced over at the bowl of watery soup and a smile formed on my lips. Reuben’s bowl of poison was going to be useful after all. I picked up the bowl and carefully walked to the far end of the room, lowering myself to the f

Olivia's POV I stayed there for several minutes, hoping that they would have some conversation in the next room that could alert me of their next plan. Then I heard Reuben’s voice, it was low but sounded furious.“He said he would think about it. Can you believe that? I offer him his wife and child in exchange for the throne, and he tells me he needs time to consider.”Alira's response was almost immediate, “I never thought Simeon would be so cruel but people always surprise you.”“I thought he loved them but he really is just one selfish bastard,” added Reuben. “What do we do now? Do we kill them?” Alira's voice sounded hostile. “Kill them? We should, they are only wasting our resources,” replied Reuben, “but we should wait a bit longer to listen to what Simeon has to say. It is possible that he may actually want them back.” “I doubt that. If he cares for them at all, he would have given up the throne in a heartbeat if he did,” came Alira's response. “But I cannot just end his

Simeon's POV That evening, under the cover of night, I went to the house. It was a house I knew well even though I had not been there in ages. The house stood at the edge of an old stone bridge just beyond our territory. It was small and had been deserted for years. I walked straight through the door.Inside, the room was quiet except for the crackle of a fire.Reuben sat near it. His legs were crossed. He looked at ease as though we were meeting on friendly terms.I was filled with an anger I could not describe. What was he doing here? What did he want? Demand that I take Prinsca back? I turned to leave as I had nothing I wanted to say to him. But then he spoke.“I assume,” he said smoothly, “that you would like to see your wife and child again?”I froze where I stood.Slowly, I turned back to face him.“Where are they?” I asked, my voice low and trembling with fury.Reuben offered no response.I crossed the space between us in three long strides. I grabbed him by the throat and

Simeon's POV “The lady that you took to treat her leg, where did you take her?” It had been fifteen minutes since Olivia had been led away by the maid who injured her with glassware.I strongly doubted she would do something foolish like running away from me, especially when she knew that her son's life depended on her compliance.I had no intention of killing Jeremy, but I had every intention of ensuring that she never laid eyes on him again. If she had really escaped, then it would be the last time she would ever see her son.Across the room, I caught sight of Damien. He looked far too relaxed. He was laughing with some blond woman whose name I didn’t care to know. When our eyes met, he looked away almost immediately.Rage burned through me but there was nothing I could do about it. Damien's presence always annoyed me. A thought struck me suddenly. Had Olivia found a way to pass a message to Damien? Was he already mobilizing against me? Could he be marching an army toward my pack

  • The Alpha’s Banished Mate   Chapter 114

Olivia's POV There was a brief silence. Then the sound of footsteps moving lightly on the floor. I accidentally rested too hard on the wall and the stone shifted, causing an ingratiating sound. I held my breath, scared that I had been caught eavesdropping. “Did you hear that?”I held my breath, frozen in place. My heart was pounding so loudly in my chest that I feared it may be heard in the other room. Everything in me screamed at me to run. But I was locked up here, where would I run to? I remained frozen by the wall, trying desperately to stop my heart from pounding so loudly. When they continued on in silence I was convinced they had seen me through the small crack and were coming now to end my life. Then, I heard a door creak open but it sounded distant and if not for the still silence I would not have heard it at all. “Oh, how sweet,” a woman said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “What have the lovebirds been conspiring this time?”I knew who that voice belonged to—it wa

  • The Alpha’s Banished Mate   Chapter 113

Olivia's POV I had been pacing the room in slow, measured steps, trying to make sense of everything—my escape, Reuben, Jeremy, and the suffocating sense that I had only been rescued to be caged again. The walls were bare, the air was stale and too dry, so dry that it hurt my nostrils when I breath. The silence was maddening. We really had to be in the middle of nowhere because I heard no activity on the outside. I was certain though that Reuben had not left this place unguarded, this place had to be crawling with guards. That was when I heard it.At first, I thought it was just the wind filtering through the small window but I was wrong. I could make out the clear unmistakable voice of Reuben and someone else. I dropped to my knees and pressed my ear against the wall. I had not known there was another room behind this one. It was then I noticed it too—a jagged corner where the stone had chipped away. I pressed my ear against it, their voices becoming clearer. “I’m telling you,” R
