  Even though Alex never wanted this to lead to violence, he had no choice. What Lucas had just said to him made him so angry. He couldn't believe that Lucas was still labeling Vanessa as his own wife, as someone who belonged to him despite everything he did to her. Lucas, who had even started the fight, was unable to get hold of himself. He had already become so weak—just two punches from Alex. Meanwhile, Alex was still standing firm. Just then, security guards rushed towards them and separated them as they pushed Lucas out. After hearing from the bartender that Lucas was the one who came to Alex and started the fight, yelling at him, while Alex was told to leave the bar at his own accord, which he did almost immediately. Alex did not want to go home because he still had to face Aaron. So he drove back to his office and instead sat there in the darkness, thinking about everything—mostly thinking about the words that Lucas had uttered to him.

  Alex, listening to the words Vanessa muttered, could clearly understand what she was trying to say. It was more than obvious that Vanessa could not continue this anymore.   Lucas sat in front of his mother as he slowly sipped the coffee. His mom had called him for a brief family meeting. Immediately she heard the news about Vanessa's arrival. "So did you get to meet Vanessa?" she questioned as Lucas did not say a word because he did not know how else to respond to his mother. After Vanessa had left years ago, she always blamed him that he was the reason why she lost everything. He lost a child and still lost a wife.   The next morning, Becky opened her eyes and was surprised to see herself in Vanessa's room. Even her clothes were changed to a night dress. She sat down and rubbed her eyes, calling out to Vanessa, but yet no answer. She stood up from the bed and slowly walked out of the room. "Vanessa," she called again, but yet got no answer. She went to the kitchen, and on the counter was her breakfast. She could not help but smile because Vanessa was treating her like a princess that she never imagined she would be.   Meanwhile, Lucas, seeing Vanessa again, took a huge toll on him because he was unable to believe that Vanessa would ever be able to look as good as she did, not to talk less of the rumors he heard that she now has a successful company in Italy, which she had now moved to the States. It felt like she had left and come back for revenge. It angered Luca so badly because he even talked to her, offered her a second chance with him, but she rejected without even thinking twice. Just then he heard a loud bang on the door. He opened it, and it was Eliana. As she stormed in, looking angry, she turned to him with her hands on her hips and a frown on her face.
