Asher's POV
"Alright, Emily, hope down with Penny, we're right at the vet,” Jasmine instructs Emily.
I pulled up at the lot in front of the Vet’s office.
"Yes, mummy, I'm just trying to get the collar around her neck,” Emily responds sweetly.
After Rylee brought the kids over, and Penny too, Emily had a series of amnesia because Penny suffered a terrible stomach ache. This was supposedly the second visit, and Jasmine gossiped that Emily cried when Penny got her first dose of injection. We tried not to laugh at our little mummy.
"Common, sweetie, let mummy help you.” Jasmine offered, as she stretched over and got the new collar with a bow, around Penny's neck.
“All done, let's go.”
“Thanks, mummy.” Emily smiled.
"You're welcome, sweetie.” She got down. "You gonna stay behind and watch the boys, yeah?”
I looked at the back seat, where Ethan and Ezra were sleeping like logs. They fought on our way to the vet, I bet they were exhausted now.
"Sure." I nodded in agreement.
