KAIA'S POV:

The next day, the morning sun coming into my room is too bright that it almost takes my eyesight.

No kidding.

It streams in through the lavender curtains, painting stripes on the floor like it’s proud of waking me up. I lie still, tangled in silky sheets that still feel too luxurious for someone like me. For a moment, I forget where I am until the weight of it all comes crashing back.

Canada. Brothers. A new school.

I groan and drag myself out of bed, padding barefoot to the closet where someone, probably the maid, has already hung up the new clothes we got yesterday. It’s still bizarre, being taken to a massive mall with a black credit card and told to "get whatever you want." I’d never had the freedom to choose before.

I didn’t know it could be so… overwhelming. I haven't even gotten any new clothes since my 16th birthday.

I slip into a dark purple hoodie and skinny jeans. Comfortable armor.

Downstairs, the scent of cinnamon and something buttery wafts through the air. The dining room is massive like something out of a magazine. Ezra waves me over with a slice of toast in his mouth.

Rowan sits at the head of the table, reading something on a tablet, and Lucien sips black coffee like it’s the only thing keeping him sane.

"You ready for school?" Ezra grins at me, sliding over a plate of waffles.

"No," I answer honestly, sitting cautiously at the end of the table. I wish I didn't have to resume so early.

Lucien raises an eyebrow. "At least she’s honest." I ignore his snide remark and face t other two.

"I don’t know where my classes are. I don’t even know where the bathroom is in that place."

"Don’t worry," Ezra says, reaching for another piece of toast. "You’ve got a guide. Someone will show you around. Moreover, it's not the official first day. That's tomorrow. You are just going to get familiar with the environment for today."

Who does that? Apparently, Australians.

I narrow my eyes. " Oh, okay. Who is that?"

They glance at each other.

Rowan finally speaks. "Her name is Rhea. She’s… reliable."

The car that picks me up is sleek and black, windows tinted to keep out the nosy world. I’m driven to a school that looks like it belongs in a N*****x teen drama.

Modern buildings, a courtyard with actual trees, students in trendy clothes. I step out, gripping my backpack tightly like it’s the only stable thing I have left.

Yup, definitely a private school.

My driver nods once. "Have a good day, Miss Kaia."

Miss Kaia. Like I’m someone important.

Inside the main office, I’m handed a map, a schedule, and a tight-lipped smile from the receptionist.

"Rhea should be here shortly to guide you to your homeroom."

Before I can ask what a "Rhea" looks like, a girl with mocha skin, icy blue eyes, and perfect curls strolls in like she owns the place.

"You must be Kaia," she says. Her voice is melodic but confident, not sugary. "I’m Rhea. I’ll be your school babysitter for the week."

"I don’t need babysitting."

She smirks. "Good. Then we’ll get along fine."

We walk through hallways bustling with students who barely glance my way, but I still feel like a neon sign. Rhea points out classrooms and bathrooms with quick nods. She’s easy to listen to - smooth voice, quick wit. Like someone who knows how to walk into any room and own it.

"You new to the country or just the school?" she asks as we cut across a sunny courtyard.

"Both."

"That explains the deer-in-headlights vibe." She says it without judgment.

I snort. "Thanks."

She glances sideways at me. "You’ll be fine. Stick with me. I’m weird, but not mean."

N. NAs we walk into third period, History of Supernatural Integration, whatever that means, Rhea pauses and nods toward two guys sitting near the back.

"That’s Kai and Axel,” she says. “Try not to stare. Everyone does."

I glance over, not expecting much..Then my breath catches.

Kai is dark-haired, broad-shouldered, with this quiet brooding intensity like he’s constantly doing calculus in his head or judging everyone silently.

Axel is the opposite; black curls, dimples, a flirtatious grin aimed at every passing student. His posture screams mischief, while Kai’s screams don’t-come-near-me.

But it’s not just their looks.

The moment I step into the room, they both look up. Their eyes lock on me like magnets. Unblinking. Sharp.

Axel’s cocky smirk falters. Kai stiffens.

And their eyes,.both pairs of them, glow.

Not a sparkle. Not a trick of the light.

Glow.

Goosebumps rise along my arms.

"What was that?".I whisper.

Rhea’s expression doesn’t change, but her body shifts slightly between me and them. "Don’t worry about them. They’re… complicated."

We sit near the front, but I can feel their eyes boring into the back of my head like lasers. I can’t focus. The teacher might as well be speaking another language.

Every time I turn around, Axel’s looking at me like I’m a riddle he wants to solve. Kai looks like he wants to burn the page the riddle’s written on.

By lunch, I’m done pretending to be okay.

Rhea leads me to the cafeteria, handing me a tray and pointing to a table by the windows. "Let’s sit there. Less chance of drama."

But just as I’m settling in, a loud clang echoes behind us.

Axel’s voice carries. "Hey! New girl!"

I look up.

He’s grinning, sauntering over like he owns the place. Kai follows, slower, expression unreadable.

Rhea mutters, "Of course they would."

They stop at our table.

Axel flashes a dimple. "Mind if we join?"

Kai’s eyes never leave mine. "You’re new."

"Obviously," I say.

Axel chuckles. "Feisty."

"What do you want?" They sit anyway.

Kai leans forward slightly, voice low. "What’s your last name?"

"None of your business."

They glance at each other, and something silent passes between them.

Kai’s jaw tightens. Axel exhales like he’s been punched in the gut.

I shove back my chair, suddenly needing air. "I’m going for a walk."

They don’t stop me but I hear them say it.

As I step through the cafeteria doors, the wind catches their voices like a secret not meant to be heard.

“Mate,” they both say.

At the same time.

CHAPTER 116: BEYOND THE VEILRHEA'S POV:SONG OF THE CHAPTER: WHEN THE WORLD IS ENDING BY JSAXE.~~~ The Guen Packhouse feels heavier now. Like every stone has memorized Rowan’s silence. I walk slowly through the corridor, my boots nearly silent against the rune-laced floor. Lucien trails behind me, his steps slower than usual, weighted by something he isn’t saying. Nyrielle waits outside the room, her expression unreadable, her wings clutched tightly to her sides. Ezra’s pacing just outside Rowan’s door. “We’ve tried everything,” he mutters, not looking at me. “He’s breathing, but he’s not... there. He is not waking up ” “I have to try,” I say quietly. My voice doesn’t ask permission, it never could, not when it comes to family. I at least have to try something... Right? Inside, Rowan looks... too still. His chest rises and falls in even beats, but there’s no light behind his eyelids, no spark of the man who once led entire warrooms with nothing but a look. This fe

LUCIEN'S POV:SONG OF THE CHAPTER: LOVE U BY HOWL I stand on the cliffs just outside the Guen stronghold, stormclouds coiled tightly above me, the sky too still to be trusted. The scent of rain lingers, but it hasn't fallen. It's as if the sky itself is holding its breath. Elen stands beside me, silver-blue hair dancing like a banner in the wind. He is watching the sky too, but his expression is calm... too calm. "You're not just a stormwalker," he says finally, voice quiet like thunder before the quake. "You're the turning key." I arch a brow. "You’ve said that before. Vaguely and mysteriously. Like a damn Windborne oracle. Care to be less poetic and more useful?" Elen turns his strange, cloud-swirled eyes to mine. "Fine. The prophecy calls you the Stormwalker; he who walks the edge of storms, who splits fate from ruin with a single breath. But that path doesn’t end with the Boundless."Oh, more trouble? Nice. The wind howls as he says it, like the very air is trying

CHAPTER 114: DRAGONHEARTPOV: RheaSONG OF THE CHAPTER: The first thing I notice when I wake up is the silence. Not the kind that is comforting and not the kind that means rest. This one is loud. It echoes in the bones of my ears and pulses inside my chest like a space that used to hold something important but now just rings hollow. My body feels strange. Not broken, not bruised. Just... feels borrowed. Like it belongs to someone else now. I blink at the ceiling above me which is carved with stone, shifting patterns like wind trapped in rock and I can feel Lucien before I see him. His presence wraps around me like a storm barely held at bay."You're awake." His voice is soft but raspy, like he's used it too many times while I was unconscious. I turn my head. He’s seated beside the bed, dark hair a mess, storm eyes rimmed red. His hand tightens around mine before I even realize he’s holding it. "Three days," he whispers. "You didn’t move for three days."My mouth is d

CHAPTER 113: AFTERSTORMLUCIEN'S POV:SONG OF THIS CHAPTER: NEED YOU BY FIREBOY DML~~~ The room is too quiet, too still and I hate how loud my thoughts get in its silence. Rhea hasn’t stirred since the Crown fused into her. It’s been three days, a freaking seventy-two hours of not hearing her voice, not seeing her eyes or feeling her fire through the bond. And gods, I miss her fire. I sit beside her, my hand closed around hers like it’s the only thing keeping her tethered. I count her breaths obsessively. One every five seconds. Soft and shallow. Her skin is warmer than normal, like the sun lives in her veins now. The dragon mark on her wrist pulses faintly every few minutes, flickering gold and ember-red, like it’s remembering what she’s become. Nyrielle told me it would happen. That after the shards merged, Rhea would need time to re-forge herself. But what no one told me is that it would feel like waiting for death. I haven’t slept. I barely eat. Rowan sends food

CHAPTER 112: CROWN OF THREEPOV: RHEASONG OF THE CHAPTER: MY DEMONS BY STARSET (ACOUSTIC)~~(MOMENTS BEFORE THE DREMARI DIES:)The wind is too quiet. It’s the kind of stillness that only comes after something sacred has shattered. The kind that hangs heavy in your lungs, tastes like copper and grief. The Dremari lies on the stone altar, more shadow than substance now. His form is flickering each breath a struggle, each movement like smoke curling in reverse. The crater around us glows faintly, the remains of his protection spell still etched in the cracked ground. I kneel beside him, the others keeping back with Lucien standing closest with his jaw tight and fists trembling. Rowan leans heavily on one arm and blood trailing down the ruin of the other. Nyrielle crouches next to Elen, trying to keep him conscious. And the Dremari… he’s dying. “I’m not ready,” I whisper. My voice is hoarse. “Don’t leave yet. You haven’t told me how.”His head turns slowly toward me. His eyes ar

  • THE LOST WEREWOLF PRINCESS: MATED TO THE RIVALS   Chapter 111

SONG OF THE CHAPTER: WAR OF HEARTS BY RUELLERHEA'S POV: It begins with a sound, like the howl of the world itself being split down the spine. One moment, the clouds are bruised purple and pulsing. The next, they rupture, revealing nothing but white-hot light and shadow claws clawing into reality. The veil collapses. I stagger back, shielding my eyes as the sky opens like a wound. Creatures pour through; the Boundless, grotesque and shifting like the space between dreams and nightmares. Some walk on six legs, others fly on wings made of bone. Their eyes glow void-black, hollow as if the universe forgot to fill them. All of Guen trembles. The air buzzes with magic which feels raw are unfiltered. The kind that feels like it might rip you apart molecule by molecule.Ezra roars."To arms! Protect the line!" The gates shatter as the first wave hits. The steel crashes, magic ignites and screams start to increase. Lucien appears beside me in a flash of blue lightning. His
