The elevator dinged, and the doors opened. More gunmen trooped out into the boutique. And the last to come out was Eric.
More suv vehicles drove to the front of the boutique. With tens of gunmen getting out from them. The whole boutique got surrounded in no time. No visible escape route.
Jenny and Lionel hid together behind the toilet walls. Both breathing faintly.
"It's Over."...
"What are we going do now?" Jenny whispered.
"I'm as helpless as you are child."
"You think Cory can help?" Jenny asked, bringing out her cellphone.
"Maybe. We don't have a choice. We need all the help we can get."
"Find and bring Lionel out, with the girl too." Eric ordered.
Jenny hurriedly sent a text to Cory.
"What's that sound?" Lionel asked.
"Sounds like sirens."
"Never been this glad to hear them." Lionel laughed, in a small whisper.
