Then my excitement dimmed a little as I thought of Adrian. He was treating me as if I was a fragile little princess made of glass. I was not sure if he would let me go to the demon after what happened yesterday. And I didn’t have the heart to go against him when I remembered the anguish on his face.
Seeing my miserable look, Mercy let out a laugh. I frowned at her in question.
“Relax. Adrian already knows that you won’t rest until you get to meet the demon. He had already asked me to bring you to the basement. He would meet us there.”
I smiled as I heard her words. That man knew me so well!
“What are we waiting for? Let’s go!” I declared.
Mercy looked me up and down before raising her brows at me.
I sighed as I realised that she wanted me to dress up for questioning the demon. Unbelievable! Was she afraid I would kill the demon

Rhea’s POVWhen celebrations raged around us, Adrian and I held our own celebration by hugging each other with tears in our eyes.

Rhea’s POV “Just the Goddess I was waiting for,” Samael said with glee.
Rhea’s POV I stood in the middle of the battleground with the Titans and the demon army led by Samael on one side. On my other side stood the Olympian Gods led by the mighty Zeus himself.
