“I claimed her,” Stolas said, bringing his hand up to wipe the blood from his lips. He could feel the anger radiating off Candy, see it in her eyes.
“We didn’t consent to that.” Her voice was a low growl, and Stolas knew that he needed to tread carefully.
“Candy, she’ll need to bear both of our claims.”
Annie tucked her shoulders in, trying to make herself as small as possible. She wished she could easily slip from between the two of them to let them have their fight without being in the middle of it. She hated that they were arguing like she wasn’t in between them, like Stolas hadn’t just claimed her.
She could understand what Candy was saying. Having sex with the demon was one thing. It was a thing that they had agreed to, claiming hadn’t been something that had discussed. Neither of them had that on their mind
