Chapter Thirteen

Rays of sunlight peeked in through the windows, disturbing my much needed sleep. It was the first good sleep I've had since I moved in with Chris. I glanced at the alarm clock on the bedside table. It was almost seven o'clock and school starts by 8 am.

Hesitantly I crawled out of my bed and walked to the en-suite bathroom. I started with brushing my teeth. When I was done with that I washed my hair with my favorite vanilla shampoo before taking a quick shower.

Thirty minutes later I was done and dressed for school. I was wearing a long sleeved black dress that reached just mid thigh. I paired that with black wedged sandals. I sat in front of my makeup table and did my daily minimal makeup which consisted of just mascara, eyeliner and lipstick. I have always wished I could do my makeup like those girls on the cheerleading team who look like they had just walk out of a model shoot but well, I was good at many things but makeup isn't one of them. When I was sure that I looked good enoug
