Chapter Eight

The next day, Zachary came to my house immediately after my Mom left for work.I had told her I was sick and didn't feel like going to school. She let me stay at home but with the condition that I must take medication and rest enough. I was on my bed thinking about the previous day and worrying about my safety when I heard a tap on my bedroom window. I turned to see Zachary waving at me to open up. I signalled him to the main entrance and then I ran downstairs to open the door for him. Zachary walked in with a box and went straight to the kitchen counter and dropped it,he turned to look at me softly with concern in his eyes.

' Leah, how're you feeling today? I brought some stuff that could make you feel a lot better.' Zachary explained.

' Zachary! what are you doing here?I didn't expect you here this early. Aren't you going to school?'

' I just needed to make sure you're doing okay.' He replied worriedly.
