Sandilo was stunned by Vivian’s outburst. He sat there brooding and reflecting. It was quite some time before he went to seek out Vivian. He was shocked to see her lying peacefully on the stone seat…
He tiptoed to the seat and kneeled in front of her. He caressed her cheeks with the back of his hand. She looked as if she was an incarnation of the Moon Goddess.
He wanted to wipe out the lines of worry that were distorting her face. He lowered his lips and kissed her gently on the forehead. His heart almost stopped beating when Vivian smile involuntarily. He wished to see her smiling like this. He resolved not to fight with her ever again.
When Vivian woke up, he took out the bottle of energy pills from her bag handed it to her. Thankfully, she didn’t refuse though her eyes were laced with worry.
He took out the wand from the bag and said, “This wand heals injuries, right?”
