Alima POV

I sat by the counter, my back slightly slouched, my hands clasped together in my lap as I stared around, waiting to be called on stage. It was very hard for a lowly omega werewolf like me to secure a decent job, I could only work as a club dancer.

I tried my best,I just couldn’t escape being here after all.

“The Silvercrest pack wouldn’t leave our pack alone, it’s tiring to see how they’re making it difficult for our Alpha,” Benita, one of the club dancers, was talking to another dancer.

“They’ve been enemies with our pack for decades, it’s hard for them not to cause trouble,” Sharon chirped in and I sighed, tired of their conversation.

“Alima!” Madam Vee said as she walked down to me, anger evident in her face.

I quickly stood up and rushed to her before she could get to me. “What the hell are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be dancing and earning more money for me?” She yelled over the loud music and I immediately apologized.

“I’m sorry ma’am, it won’t happen again.”

“Take this,” She pushed a glass cup towards me and I took the glass cup from her and the smell of bourbon filled my nostrils, but I could also perceive the smell of wolfsbane inside it.

Alcoholic drink doesn’t have much effect on werewolves, but with wolfsbane included it was easy to get us high.

She chewed on the gum in her mouth aggressively and I knew at that instant no escape for me tonight. “Drink,” Her tone was sharp.

My eyes darted from her face to the glass cup in my hand and from the cup back to her face again, she has something up in her sleeve tonight and I could feel it.

“Why?” I tried to steady my voice.

she gave me a deadly glare “Do I need a reason to give you this? My customers are complaining about you Alima, you’re too stiff and you don’t dance well. This would help,” She pointed at the glass cup.

“But…I don’t drink,”

she hissed getting more pissed up at me.

“Well, be sure to get your sorry ass back in the street tonight,” She threatened and I grabbed the glass firmly with my eyes squeezed tight, I emptied everything inside my mouth.

“Good girl,” She smiled, patting my shoulders.

“Room 107, Make sure to serve him well,” She reminded me of my role.

Standing up on my feet, my movement was a bit unstable as I tried to maintain my stance, heading to the room, the effect of the drink was already making me tipsy, considering I wasn’t as strong as the other werewolves.

I walked down the hallway for several minutes, my eyes flustering open and close on its own accord. I paused occasionally to glance at the room numbers, my eyes squinting slightly as I tried to focus. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I stopped in front of a door and peered at the number, a look of satisfaction across my face as I realized I was standing in front of the door.

I pushed the door open without knocking and stepped in, my gaze fell upon a figure sitting on the bed. My eyes widened in surprise and I blinked twice to be sure I’m not imagining things.

I tried to control my leg from turning back and running as far as my leg could. I recognized the man, none other than Alpha Marek, the infamous playboy and leader of our pack. His piercing blue eyes seemed to bore into mine, and for a moment, we stared at each other, the air thick with tension. I couldn't help but think of Sonia, his fiancee, and I wondered what he was doing here, alone in this room.

“Are you here to stare at me? Or do your job?” His brows furrowed slightly, but I continued staring at him as the familiar scent made my heart skip a beat, I breathed in deeply, as I felt Amber, my wolf wiggling her tail in excitement.

What is this feeling? The hair on my skin stood erect and my leg wanted to spin towards him, my heart was beating too fast and I tried to act like I didn’t care, knowing he was way out of my league, but I didn’t know when the word came out of my mouth.

“Mate!” realizing I was standing in front of my mate and I have control over what I’m feeling right now.

He stood up from the bed and walked towards me, his gaze never leaving mine as he approached me, he took my hand in his softly as if trying not to break them and I felt the spark of electricity run through me.

At that moment, I felt accepted to an extent. I started doubting the rumors I heard about him, clouded with emotions, I thought I found the man who was going to save me.

Perhaps I couldn’t think straight, juggling my emotions and highness trying to stay realistic.

He leaned forward and brushed his lips against my neck, I breathed in heavily, my heart pounding in my chest as he kissed my lips sending shivers down my spine.

He deepened the kiss, his mouth moved against mine in a slow, sensual rhythm. Like a tap on my head to remind me who he is I pulled away and staggered backward, wanting to run away as fast as I could, but my legs seemed routed to the floor, making me unable to move.

I could feel Amber, jumping in excitement, she’s been expecting her mate for years, and he was right in front of her.

But despite everything, I wasn’t stupid to know he had a fiance waiting for him at home, and he saw me as a despicable slut as everyone else.

“You have a fiance,” I mumbled.

He was silent for a while and I thought that was the end of my fantasy till he tried to hold me again.

“You know; I’ve known you were my mate for sometime now, at first I couldn’t believe an omega slut could be my mate, but since the moon goddess is playing games with me, I might as well use you for what you’re good at,” He chuckled dryly as his eyes were all over my body.

Realization dawned on me, I wrapped my hands around my body as I tried to run, he grabbed my neck before I could even take a step, he was so strong that I felt like an ant before him.

What was I thinking? He’s An alpha wolf!

He pushed me to the wall, kissed me roughly like he’s trying to mark a spot I would never forget on it and I tried to pull away but he deepened the kiss.

The room suddenly began to spin, the bourbon I had consumed earlier suddenly making its presence known. I felt my head reeling, my senses blurring, and I tried to push him away, my hands pressing against his chest. But he held me tightly, his arms wrapping around me like a shield, refusing to let go.

His lips continued to claim me as he carried me to the bed, while I was too weak to make a sound.

“Please don’t do this,” I pleaded weakly as I watched him undress me as if unwrapping a gift in excitement. He was having fun with me and I tried so hard to stop him, but I was no match for him. I was weak and couldn’t even keep my eyes open.

He pulled off his clothes and joined me on the bed, weak whispers begging him to stop.

Tears were tickling to my ears as I begged him to stop until I couldn’t hear the sound of my voice, but he didn’t listen,he spread my legs and roughly handled me like a slut he believed I was.

No one came to my rescue as I lost the only thing that belonged to me. Lying down there subject to him without being able to stop him.

My dignity is gone!

He pulled out after he was done, then he pushed me to the floor like I was nothing. I fell heavily and I winced in pain, my eyelids were drawn together almost closed but I could see him putting on his clothes.

He walked towards me and squatted so he wouldn't have to stress his gaze all the way down to me. His hand reached for my chin, and he roughly lifted my face up to meet his burning gaze.

"Keep this between us," His voice came out deep, almost like he was going to kill me if I ever said a word about tonight.

Then he let go of my chin, standing to his feet and my eyes went shut,I could hear his foot steep fading away. He left the room like nothing ever happened.
