Roman's Resolution

"No, grandfather. I can never do that!" Roman replied immediately after. His heart clenched in pain at the thought of losing Nicole whom he just met.

"What do you mean, no? She's a potential threat to our race. Her father is a freaking hunter and she's about to join the hunter's group." Bryce explained. It was also obvious that he was disappointed with Roman.

Hearing his grandfather's words, Roman almost stumbled for a second.

He had asked for a report on Nicole's family and he was yet to have it.

But then he didn't think her family was into something so deep.

He looked up to his grandfather who expected him to take up the gun and put a bullet through Nicole's head and he shook his head.

"Why did you agree to lend her father money since you knew they were hunters, huh?" Roman asked after a little reasoning.

He didn't think his grandfather was that generous.

"That's none of your business, Roman." Bryce said but his words wouldn't convince Roman a bit.
