Part Two, Chapter Nineteen
When Raven discovered that she might be bearing a child three years ago, the Soardina was not yet developed in the slightest. She had told Celie first, then they had to travel to the island closest to them, Midaz, to get the confirmation.
"I can't believe we're doing this," Raven had muttered bitterly. "We're wasting time in Midaz while the others are probably messing up the land."
"We can't just treat it like it's impossible. I mean, you and that guy did have sex and both of you were probably so horny that," Celie gestured around the clinic they were in, "this happened."
"No shit sherlock," Raven replied with a straight face.
Then she discovered Celie was right, and she did not know how to feel.
It was literally the worst time to bear children. And Raven, a wanted murderer, as a mother? That might be the most ridiculous thing on earth.

"How are things going with him?" Margaret raised a curious brow. She did not need to expand on her question for Raven to understand who she meant. "Better than I thought," Raven said with a wide grin. She sat on her bed, surrounded by rolls of bandages for her knife wound from the day before. "He's definitely choosing to stay," Darrow said, leaning against the wall. "How are you so sure?" Zak asked. Celie was in front of him, checking which outfit suited Zak best. "Because Blake practically has that guy wrapped around his finger," Zak said as a matter of fact. "He's not letting Jean Luc leave. Not after he finally finds a partner to start playing that boring game with." That was true. Even as they were in the room, letting Celie dress them up, they could hear the screaming of the two men in the gaming room. Blake had somehow convinced Jean Luc to start playing 'Human Apocalypse' and they've been yelling profanities at each other ever since.
