Chapter 7|| Family

"Can I call you Mathew instead?" Matteo asked Zaffiro, while they were playing. Zaffiro smiled at him while his eyes were sparkling with delight as he nodded his head.

Matteo's heart was instantly filled with happiness with just a simple gesture. Everything about the child brings him joy. Weird because he doesn't usually like children.

But then he remembered something.
