CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

We went on several dates after I prepared my documents to travel. It was scheduled for the next week Tuesday and Armin had become somewhat clingy, he trailed me all over the house and whenever he was at work he'd call me just to say some cliche word.

It made me not want to leave anymore. His plan to make me stay almost worked but I remembered the purpose of leaving and I stuck to it.

On Tuesday morning, Armin drove me to the airport and the realization set in. We were going to be apart but it was necessary. I deemed leaving necessary.

“So this is it,” I said as I heard an announcement that we were about to take off.

My luggages had been taken away and all I had left was my purse.

“When I'm gone, you should eat well and not skip meals. No- I demand you send photos of your breakfast, lunch and dinner–”

I was interupted by Armin pulling me into his tight embrace.

“You must come back to me after three months.”

We had agreed on three months.

“If not, I'll go to London to find you wherever
