“I just wanted to see what Mickel would choose. Surprisingly, he choosed death.”

Armin and I were cuddled in our bedroom, talking. Armin was going to tell me the truth.

“Did you kill him?” I asked.

“I only took an arm as promised.”

“What about the other rouge wolves?”

“Dead.” Armin said.

“What if he reports you to the police or gather his mafia buddies to make trouble?”

“He won't, he'd be humiliating himself if word goes out.”

“How are you so sure?”

“I know, I have a few tricks up my sleeve as well.” He said.

“Yes,” I said, “You're thirty one, you probably know a lot.”

“Hmm,” Armin held me closer to his chest, “I can't believe you have me wrapped around your fingers when I'm this old.”

I chuckled, “It's the mate bond. I feel the same way about you too.”

“Even without the mate bond I think I'd still be attached to you.”

“Whatever.” I said, “You wanted to tell me the truth about the blonde housekeeper, Kate?”

“She's from your pack, Shadow Ace.”
