When Aamber visited the next day, she saw the gleam of happiness on Laurel and Aaron's faces, and she was grateful in her heart. These two people were truly happy.

Laurel was taking the cake out of the oven and placing it on the kitchen counter to cool it before slicing. The smell of strawberry and coconut cake filled the room. She got the recipe for the cake from Chris when they were on the island and only had time to practice it now.

“Looks like you made it. I've tried Chris's recipe and it's a mess, the inside is still raw.” Aamber looked deliciously at the cake and inhale its aroma. “Hm, and it smells really good.”

Laurel laughed seeing Aamber who looked like she wanted to taste the cake. “Let it cool first, otherwise your tongue will burn.”

“I'll take the risk.” Amber didn't care. She sliced the cake and pushed it onto the plate, then carried the plate while blowing on it.
