27. BATTLE END
My molecular kinesis came in handy to seal the door on its doorframe before Kyle erupted from the room. Ashton was already in his defensive position from Quinn and Stuart. They both moved and Quinn stood facing me while Stuart faced Ashton. Kyle stood by the door while Roman yanked it from its position to let them both out. It seemed Roman had gotten some strength powers as he got the door off the hinges without much effort. Kyle and Roman bolted from the room, with Kyle leading and Roman protecting him from behind.
“Now I finally get my chance to squash the precious Ashton Turner, oops, my apologies, Ashton McKenzie”, Stuart said with smugness.

I woke up to a dimly lit room, again. I felt relaxed, perfectly recovered. I turned my head to my left side and found Ashton sleeping in the chair next to my bed, it really looked uncomfortable. Being outdoors became a necessity since it was the spring season and everything looked alive, except for me. Composure was the new gnome in our lives, since having Ashton back in our daily lives seemed to be the main cure that got everyone hyped up all over again. After processing all they were told, my friends took to this whole thing like a fish to water. They accepted my being without any restrictions, Ashton as well. Our friendship grew even stronger without any prohibitions in our lives. We were able to have a prosperous senior year, prepared ourselves accordingly for the final exams. Although we were on the peak of exams commencing, there was always a tradition of having our matric dance before the exams started. Matric dance is like prom dance for other countries, we called it differently because it only happened when we were in our senior year, matric class.
