Chapter 14: Please Cooperate IV

“That was so much fun!” Caleb said as soon as they walked through the exit. “I never expected that the animals would be so big. The tigers were amazing. They looked fierce but nice at the same time. I was shocked when I heard the lion roar! It wasn’t angry that time, right?”

Caleb continued babbling as they walked towards the Cab Terminal. It seemed that he truly enjoyed looking at the animals in the zoo. It was a good thing that she thought of the zoo when she heard that he would be coming to hang out with her.

She was about to enter the cab when her phone rang. She walked to the side and let the other person who was next in line take the cab before she answered her phone.

“Where are you?” The familiar baritone voice asked from the other line.

“We’re just about to take a cab back to the hotel.” She held Caleb’s hand to make sure that he would not go anywhere before she continued talking, &
