The awaited time had come and Callum came knocking at her door. She made sure that everything she prepared was all set before she took Caleb’s hand and followed Callum towards his car.

While they were walking, Bea noticed the silence between the two. What was wrong with that father and son pair? Was it not normal for them to at least exchange a few words to each other?

She walked beside Callum and looked at him with her left brow raised. The man looked at her and also lifted his brow.

“What do you need?”

“You should talk to your son,” Bea suggested. She knew how talkative Caleb could be if Callum would just make an effort to talk to his son.
