CHAPTER 9

EVE’S POV

Another school week goes by without a hitch. Though to most of the teenagers school is tough and boring but not to me. I know how privileged I am to go to school and have the freedom of detecting my own life. It always makes my throat tighten when I think about it.

I’ve been locked up and home schooled most of my life and it feels liberating to wake up everyday and look forward to getting out of the house and doing something like getting educated and working for myself.

Then there are my friends.

These non judgemental absolute awesome people chose me to be in their group and willing. Spending time with them is another thing I look forward to everyday as well. The sheer idea of them trying to squeeze their schedule with mine and making plans with me makes me feel unimaginably happy.

Like right now, we all are at our table at the kitchen planning about what to do this weekend. It became one of our rituals to meet and hangout on the weeke
