Chapter twelve

Receiving orders from her wasn't anything unusual to them but seeing her this scared is a sight to behold.

"If you guys get caught, don't you dare mention my name. Okay? She threatened them for the umpteenth time on the same night.

Despite her strong and bold facade she was a jittery mess as she paced the extravagantly furnished living room in her heels.

The fear of being caught is crippling her but she has no regrets.

A loud bang sounded on the door startling her.

"wait! I will check who is there" she stopped one of her underlings that was about to open the door.

"who is it?" she called out but no one answered, she got the shock of her life as her eyes landed on the person before her. She breathed out in relief but a headache started forming in place of her fear.

"what are you doing here?" she asked in a hushed voice scared someone will hear them.

With no intention to reply the uninvited guest stumbled into the room scarcely dressed and dirty.
