Chapter eleven

Grace's POV

The first thing that invaded my line of sight as I opened my eyes was the white walls that surrounded me.

Then I noticed that I was immobile, my limbs were impossible to move.

A heart monitor was beeping beside me and it's really disturbing.

Where am I?

How did I get here?

I didn't have enough time to brainstorm on my current situation as the door opens gently.

I became slightly relieved as Lisa and Steph walked.

But something was odd as they stood feet away from me like I have a plague or something.

"why are you guys standing over there?"

"And why is Steph looking like she is about to cry? I asked, my voice coming out raspy and stiff.

"Can you get me some water?" I asked directly at Lisa.

I have a lot of questions but I think I need water first.

"How did I end up fucked up like this?"

"My whole body feels like it got chewed on by a crocodile" I said rapidly after I got my throat moisturized.

"You had an accident, and you end up like this"
