Chapter 21

The next morning,, Nathan woke up, after Freshening up and getting ready for work he headed to his grandpa’s room, on getting there, his grandfather was already awake, Nathan greeted his grandfather and told him he was about to go to work, then he informed him he will be going to the hospital to collect his medication after work.

Hearing this his grandfather refused. “No need, I will go with Leo to collect the medication, don’t come back here again, I don’t want to see you.”

. “Grandpa you have not fully recovered and can’t wander around, I will go to the hospital after work and pick up your medication, then come back and give it to you.”

Grandpa Robinson insisted. “If you picked up the medicine, keep it for yourself don’t bother coming back to give it to me, because I will not take it , I will go and pick my medication by myself later in the day.”

Just then, the butler who was standing nearby quickly chimed in. Young master, I think you should listen to the old master, the doctor said he doesn’t need to be getting worked up because of his heart condition, moreover, I will go with him, so you should be rest assured that nothing will happen.”

“Thank you grandpa Leo!”

“It’s nothing, I’m doing my job.”

Nathan shook his head helplessly, his grandfather has always been like this , since he found out that Jane hasn’t been able to get pregnant because he hasn’t slept with her since they got married, his grandfather has been angry with him, even banning him from visiting him.

Nathan looked at his grandfather.“Okay, I will not go, and I will not come back today, grandpa take care of yourself, and grandpa Leo please take care of my grandfather for me.”

“Not only today, don’t bother visiting me again until you give me a great-grandchild.” Grandpa Robinson said.

Nathan ignored him, “grandpa I’m going to work now, take care of yourself, “ with that he stood up and left.

Watching him leave, Mr Robinson shook his head and murmured. “Just as stubborn as his father when he was alive.

Tomorrow is Saturday, ,Lily insisted that she wants to go to work with Stephanie tomorrow since she’s not going to school .

“Mom, I want to go to work with you to work tomorrow I don’t want to stay at home alone with Liam, he always bullied me whenever you’re not at home.”

“No you can’t go with me , the hospital is full of germs , and it’s not good for children.”

“Mommy please, just this once, I just want to know where you work. I promise I will be a good girl and will stay one place without wandering around .” Lily pleaded.

Stephanie didn’t want them to come because they hospital is crowded with people everyday, and Nathan or someone who knows him might see Liam and recognize him as Nathan’s child, but seeing Lily’s hopefulll expression, she couldn’t bear to refuse her, so she agreed. “Okay, just this one’s.”

Seeing that she had agreed, Lily beamed and rushed to hug her. “Mom, you’re the best.”

“Okay, you should go wash up and sleep now, so that you will wake up early tomorrow morning.”

Lily released her and ran upstairs with Liam.

The next morning.

Liam and Lilly were already dressed and waiting for Stephanie when she woke up.

Seeing her Lily ran to her. “Stephanie, you are awake, how was your night?”

“Fine, and yours?”

“Splendid, as you can see, we’re already ready for the day.”

Stephanie laughed, “I can see that .”

After having their breakfast , the three people- one big two small headed out.

In the institute, Stephanie took them to his office where the sat down quietly.

In the afternoon, Stephanie was called by the director, so she went to the director’s office.

Their discussion lasted more than she expected.

In the office, Lily’s stomach growled for the umpteenth time. “Stephanie is not back and I’m so hungry, brother, why don’t we go out and buy food.”

Even though Stephanie told them not to go out, she had told them that she will be back in the next five minutes, but it’s has been up to two hours since she left and she has not returned.

Knowing his sister was so hungry, Liam agreed, they both stood up and left the hospital, after buying the food they headed back.

They were chatting as they headed back to the institute when Lily bumped into an old man who was coming out of the institute.

“Grandpa, please, I apologize. my sister wasn’t watching were she was going , so she bumped into you.” Liam quickly apologized to the old man before helping Lily up.

When they old man saw Liam’s face, he froze.
