“I’m an orphan, I lost my parents in a ghastly car accident. Luckily, I survived even though I was in the car with them. I was in coma for two months, when I finally woke up I was adopted by my father’s best friend who had only one child since I have no relatives from my both parents.. They Gu family took care of me like their own son, the respected my wish to study medicine and sponsor me, but three years ago, their only son was involved in a car accident that left him paralyzed. So here we are now?” Frank explained to Stephanie, with a hint of sadness in his eyes.

Hearing this Stephanie was short of words, she didn’t even know how to confront someone, she just stared at Frank . “Senior, don’t worry everything will be alright.”

“It’s fine, its all in the past now , it has been three years and I’m doing well in business.”

Stephanie could tell he is doing well in business, for him to come to Cali city and seal a contract with Nathan Robinson means he is a genius in business.

“I want to ask you for a favor,” Frank said seriously looking at Stephanie.

“Go ahead.”

“I want you to pretend to be my girlfriend for three months .”

Stephanie was taken aback, even though she was owning him for saving her children, she didn’t want to return the favor in this way, she knows that nothing can happen between her and frank and is careful not to lead him on, she has no feelings for Frank, she only sees him as a friend..

Seeing her hesitate,Frank quickly explained. “Is not what you think, is just that my foster grandfather wants me to get married, he had even arranged a marriage for me , but I have no feelings for the girl in question, so he promised to call off the marriage and allow me be with whom I want if I secured the deal with the Robinsons family Corporation, since the contract has been settled. In truth, that was his reason for asking Stephanie to pretend to be his girlfriend, but he also wished Stephanie will develop feelings for him during this three months of pretending to be his girlfriend.

“After the three months , what will happen.”

“After the three months I will tell my grandfather that we are not compatible for each other and we broke up.”

Hearing his explanation, Stephanie had no other reason to disagree, after all she had promised to help him if she needs his help , and can’t go back on her word, it’s just three months and they will go there separate ways. Still She pursed her lips and remained silent.

Seeing her still not saying anything, Frank thought she didn’t want to do it, “it’s fine, if you don’t want to do it,” fhe said even though he was a little disappointed.

“Of course I will do it.”

Hearing her answer Frank was surprised. “Really?”

“Really! So what do I need to do?”

“I will be visiting my grandfather on Sunday, I want you to go with me, and pretend to my girlfriend.”

“I thought your foster family are not in Cali city?”

My grandpa is in Cali city, but my parents are in M country.”

“Okay.”

They ate and chatted for a while before heading home.

After work, Nathan Robinson headed to the Robinsons mansion, he was told by the butler that his grandfather is not feeling well.

“Welcome young master,” the butler greeted Nathan as he walked into the mansion.

“Grandpa Leo, where is my grandpa?”

The old Master is in his room..”

“What about his health?”

The doctor said he’s fine for now.”

Nathan went straight to his grandpa’s room to see him. “Grandpa!” He called out as he entered his grandpa’s w.

The old man was lying down, but when he heard Nathan’s voice he stood up. “What are you doing here?”

“Grandpa I came to see you.”

“You came to see me? When was the last time you came to see me? I’m sick now because of you, since you have refused to give me a great-grandchild, I don’t want to see you again, so go, get out of here and don’t come back here again.

Nathan had no intention of leaving. “Grandpa your health is not good and you shouldn’t be getting angry.”

“You…”

“Okay grandpa I will soon give you a grandchild.”

Grandpa Robinson scoffed. You will soon give me a great grandchild, you that has not touch your wife since you got married to her, Nathan what is your problem? You have always listened to me but now…” he shook his head.

Nathan wasn’t surprised, that his grandfather knew that he hadn’t slept with Jane for the past five years, Jane must have complained to him.

Grandpa rest well and don’t get too angry , it’s not good for your heart. With that he stood up and left the room.

Watching his retreating figure, grandpa Robinson sighed in resignation, he probably wouldn’t be able to see his great-grandchildren before his death.

Nathan decided to spend the night at the mansion, so when we left his grandfather’s room, he went to find the butler who explained what the doctor said regarding his grandfather’s condition, after that he headed to his room to rest .
