CHAPTER 58

Lyra's POV

I had various ideas of what I wanted to become but none of them have been able to settle dividing my woman without causing me more pain and wondering how everything is for me.

Kael wasn't as invincible as he wanted to think.

Kael needed to be brought down with immediate effect. If he was left to roam about, he was going to bring hair on your body and will care to listen to this point of view and I hated being vulnerable.

I had intentionally decided not to get involved in anything that concerned him to some extent so that I could clear up all the doubts that I was feeling but at the same time trying to see how long it was going to take to be able to switch off at the required time.

Camille took a glance at me not one thing to alert Lucius that the both of us have been planning something deeper.

I believed that at some point in time she had already gone to the conclusion that we couldn't continue this way at least in route any form of help whatsoever and if we were being honest with each other it happened to the ground as fast as possible.

I was also thinking about the next ideas that I could bring up that were going to last longer than what we had already come up with but none of them came to mind immediately.

"Do you think that he suspects that we are up to something or is this one of the times where we just go with the flow?" Camille whispered to me

I couldn't fully trust her because she was going behind her boss's back.

At some point it was going to be evident that both of us were working together but I would let that happen before morning sickness about the entire situation.

There was something different about the way she was so invested in this case that it made it look like she had a personal issue with it and wanted to fulfill all righteousness of just being here with me

While I didn't have a problem with any of that in the first place I had had to come to terms with the fact that there were evil more issues going on that required me to be very careful and committed and add some points or so start thinking or things in the way they should have been.

"Do you really think that he's not going to find out that we are planning something is the right question we should be having and what should we tell him in return"

Lucius popped out of nowhere. "Talking smack about me behind my back is not the right way to go with your seeking revenge. I am the only one who can lead you to that man and no matter what you do it's going to blow up in your face. He is smarter than the average alpha. You don't think that he would put measures in place?" He asked, mocking our plans.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with me trying to figure out where and what was going to happen but if he kept speaking in a condescending manner, then I would have a problem with him.

I had quite a number of things that I was trying to see through according to his directives but it wasn't still enough for someone like him.

He was probably thinking about the ways to be able to shut down a few things but that was not even in the works. I was thinking quite about a lot more recently and until I was able to come up with an idea that was going to sort things out I didn't think that I wanted to go on with it.

At some point I was beginning to think of the issues that I had caused for myself which would have been avoided completely and how long it was going to take from me to finally admit to myself that I must have made a huge mistake.

"If you mean popping up every now and then just to show that you are involved in the entire situation I don't think that's one of the things that I want to be committed to." I hissed.

Camille signaled to me not to get angry but she was not the one wearing my shoes and I was not going to be belittled either. It was one of those things where everybody just came up with ideas that best suited them without thinking about how this was going to affect me

I also came to terms with the facts about most things. We are just based on my own imagination and nothing was going to stop it.

"Maybe I'm not the one who has something to say to everyone around here. What exactly is going on that you've been hiding away from me and expecting me to go on with the flow but now that I refuse I am suddenly the bad guy." I demanded, my hands placed akimbo as I watched.

"Kael is coming here as soon as possible when he already figured out that someone who knows the inner workings of his pack is here."

I shut my eyes briefly.

If that man was coming here with vengeance then I needed to be well prepared to meet him halfway and destroy whatever he's bringing.

"Why do I sense a clause?"

The amount of time required to get through with all of that was quite overwhelming but I didn't think he understood gravity either.

"I will deal with him myself." Lucius waved me off.

"You brought me here for a major reason, why are you backing up?" I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

He was saying these things just to get me off his back but I wasn't going to let that happen, so I stepped in front of him. "Are you afraid that I'm going to run away with him?"

He let out a mirthless laugh. "He'd have to pass through me first."
