I Already Had A Lover

 Matilda's POV.

I can't hide this lie forever. It made me very uneasy, felt guilty and felt like the worst wolfwoman.

Even though I have met my mate, I also don't want to let go of Alpha Rexton because I also love him.

Alpha Rexton who accompanied me for the past years, he who understands my good and bad. Likewise, I also know everything about him.

"W--what are you saying, Matilda? Don't be kidding," said Levin, he seemed to be smiling even though he was stiff.

I shook my head. "I'm serious, Levin. I'm not joking. It's true that I already have a lover and he is an Alpha."

"Alpha?" His eyes widened. "How could you--"

"I'm sorry, Levin." I cut him off. "Before we met, I was already in a relationship with Alpha Rexton. He is the Alpha of the Yellow Moon Pack. We both love each other and this relationship has been going on for almost three years. He and I have also planned to get married."

Levin looked at me intently as he explained that. "Y--you already belong to someone."

"I'm sorry, Levin. I thought The Moon Goddess wouldn't bring me together with my mate."

"Don't you believe that every werewolf will get theirs mate?"

"I believe." I nodded my head. "It's just that I can't wait for it. Moreover, Alpha Rexton came and treated me very well."

 "I can't believe this, Matilda."

"Forgive me." My head lowered, my hands grabbed both of his hands. "Please understand me."

Meanwhile Levin just shook his head. "I want you to choose, Matilda."

"Can you give me some time?"

"I'll wait, but don't underestimate me either."

I nodded my head. "I will give you that answer as soon as possible."

"Good, now get ready quickly. You want to go home, right?"

Levin came out of the room leaving me alone and feeling confused. I stared at his back for a few moments until he disappeared behind the door which he then closed again.

Levin's departure made me exhale roughly. I picked up the scattered clothes and put them back on.

I wanted to keep looking fresh and fragrant and decided to spray perfume again on several parts of my body. Once I felt ready, I left the room.

"Where is Levin waiting for me?" I asked, looking left and right in the bar area. Instantly the strong scent of wood mixed with mint hit my sense of smell. "Where have you been, Levin?"

"Toilet." He answered simply. "Come on, let me take you home."

In the car, there was no conversation between Levin and I. We both remained silent for a few moments.

Levin drove his car at moderate speed. This made me arrive at the front of the house in the same time as usual when I go home by bus.

"Thanks for everything, Levin." I kissed his cheek.

Levin nodded. "I'm waiting for your answer, Matilda."

"I will give it to you as soon as possible, please give me some time."

Getting out of the car, I straightened my wrinkled clothes. I also bent down slightly to look inside the car. "See you tomorrow."

"Do you still want to meet me tomorrow?"

I nodded. "Definitely, meeting you is something I always look forward to and want every day."

"I always wait for your arrival at any time, Matilda."

A smile formed on my lips, I waved to accompany him away.

As the dark blue car sped away again, I turned around. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see someone peeking through the bedroom window.

In my heart I was very sure that that someone was none other than Matilda. My anger rose quickly, I half ran towards the door.

"Amelie ... why do you always violate my privacy?!" I saw her come out of the room while I was putting away the stiletto. "You entered my room without permission, what does that mean?!"

"Um, I--I'm sorry. You--" she raised her hand with a hair tie in her grasp. "You stole this from me, didn't you?!"

"Now you're accusing me like that! You left that hair tie when you came into my room last week. Did you forget it?!"

 "Excuse me."

"You can only apologize over and over again! I hate you!"

"I forgot, Matilda. Why are you so angry just because of this hair tie? Was it the man in the car that made you like this?"

"This is not about your worn hair tie, Amelie, but about you entering my room without permission. I have long disliked people who often invade privacy like you and this has nothing to do with Alpha Rexton." I explained at length.

"Isn't that guy Alpha Rexton? Even his car is blue, he's not Alpha Rexton."

"Why now? So it's as if you know him best, Amelie?!" I hated it even more when she suspected me. "He doesn't only have one car and his black car is in the repair shop, it's normal for him to use another car. Besides, if not Alpha Rexton, who else would I go with?!"

 "Excuse me."

"After accusing me like that, can you just apologize?"

Mom came out of her room. For a moment her eyes looked at Amelie and me alternately.

I don't care what mom will say to me or Amelie. Moreover, it is clear that it is not me who is at fault here, but Amelie.

"What are you talking about at night? Your voice can disturb the other neighbors, do you understand?!"

"Sorry, Mom." I lowered my head.

"Never mind, Amelie, go back to the room." I'm still looking down. "Matilda, you too, clean yourself up. No need to fight, it's late."

Without saying anything, I entered the room. The sling bag I was wearing was hanging on a hook behind the door.

Sitting in front of the mirror, I looked at my own face. Beautiful even without makeup. The make-up I was wearing today was gone because of the sex with Levin earlier.

Images of what Levin had done kept running through my head. Just imagining it can make me excited again. Levin -- my mate is really driving me crazy.

"If only you had come earlier than all that has happened, Levin." I rubbed my own sensitive area, I sighed imagining Levin doing that to my body.

The bedroom door was knocked from outside. "Your dinner is already on the dining table, Matilda."

"Y--yes, Mom, I'll be out in a moment."

I immediately finished my activities, as hard as I could I tried to erase the images of what had happened earlier in my mind.

Coming out of the room, I didn't see anyone around here. Maybe mom and Amelie are already in their respective rooms.

My two feet walked towards the dining table. While I was enjoying my dinner, my smartphone suddenly rang.

"Hi, Babe. How are you? What have you done today?" He smiled. "Eh, why are you just having dinner?"
