Charia's Pov

A week later

------------------------------------

All the staff in the company ran helter-skelter, their heads down and no one answered any of my questions. Even Ice wouldn't even bother to say a word to me. He said he was extremely busy and so were the other staff. I didn't mind because last week it was generally announced how busy today was going to be, the head of different companies was going to have a board meeting which would strongly determine the fate of our company. We've been embarking on a project and the approval of other CEOs would determine the fate of the workers too. Everyone was putting in their best just to be impressive.

As the coffee girl, I wasn't assigned any duty, so I just watched the drama going on. I wanted to be of assistance but there was really nothing for me to do.
