Chapter 9 - She is Crazy!

(Ronan pov)

She confessed her love without hesitating, she is the craziest girl I ever met!

I shifted here not knowing she is my neighbour, our paths crossed again and even though I don't like her, I feel a connection toward her whenever I look into her eyes.

I am here to find my enemy, the enemy that I must kill to take over the position of Alpha yet this crazy girl is getting on my nerves!

"Why is she behaving like this?" I murmured to myself.

Going inside, I slammed the door to give her the hint that I am clearly not interested in her game play of love!

My messenger provided me with the information that the child, who is next in line to become the Alpha of Lagoona tribe is here and I must find him before his own clan.

"Brother, where were you?" Jax asked.

I took a deep breath and replied "I was just greeting our neighbours, do you need something?"

A strange look of suspicion flashed on Jax's face. "Before, I heard Nyla's voice!" He said.

Unlike others, Jax has very high skill senses, no one can ever fool him!

"She is our neighbour, but promise me you won't make a fuss about this, we're here for a misson, remember?" I reminded him the crucial part and he nodded his head.

"I think, Nyla is your fated mate, don't you think so?" He asked.

Even Jax noticed that I have a special connection with her and no matter how much I try to hide this fact, it won't change the truth, that crazy girl is really my mate!

"Are you not going to tell her, brother?" The answer to this question was unknown to me as well, she seems innocent and pure, and the reality of me might hit her hard especially when she has some kind of feelings for me.

"Do not tell her anything, she doesn't belong with me!" Having said that, I walked over to my room and locked the door from inside!

Standing in my window, I noticed her shadow across the street inside her room. She seemed lost and in pain, maybe I am the reason.

Loud knocking on the door woke me up from my deep sleep and I rushed downstairs to see. Surprisingly, it was none other than Nyla!

"What do you want now?" I asked with a brusque tone.

"I am here to greet you, Ronan!" She seductively replied.

Her tone, her aura, her whole presence was speaking of seduction as if she is here to claim me!

"Invite me in!" She said looking straight into my eyes.

I got the clear idea that she didn't learn her lesson and her emotions are stronger enough to ignore my warnings!

"Come inside!" As she wanted, I invited her in.

Coming inside, her eyes started exploring the house and then her focus shifted to me.

"Where are the others?" She asked.

I looked at her with rage filled eyes yet found my hands bound to do anything!

"Everyone, come out!" I commanded and all my brothers rushed to us at once.

"Oh my God!" They screamed together!

"How are you guys?" Nyla turned her head towards them, and sweetly asked in her soft voice.

"What are you doing here?" Sky asked.

She walked over to them and replied "I am your neighbour, boys!" her answer flashed smile on their faces and they started dancing around her.

"Nyla, you're our first human friend, and we're so happy to see you!" She was surprised to hear that yet she took it as their innocence.

"Boys, now go back to your room, I have some unfinished business with Nyla!" Having said that, I grabbed her wrist and dragged her with me to the library upstairs.

"You wanted to spend some alone time with me?" She aksed.

"I have no desire to do that with you, I am just here to warn you!" A smile flashed on her lips as if my threats are useless!

"I do not fear you, and I declared my love for you last night, so I am not gonna back down from my words!" She replied with confidence.

"Leave me alone, Nyla!" I pleaded yet she again ignored me and this reckless behavior of hers turned my eyes red with rage!

"Ronan, your eyes..." Fear crawled on her face as she witnessed the color change of my eyeballs!
