Chapter 11 - His real identity

(Nyla's pov)

Upon reaching home, Aunt Isla was already waiting for me with a concerned look on her face!

"What happened?" I asked.

She walked over to me and hugged me tight as if she was happy to see me alive!

"I was so worried!" Aunt Isla said making her grip stronger around my arms.

"Aunt, what is going on?" I asked again the same question and she let me off her grip.

"You were attacked by a wolf, how could I not be worried about you?" Her reply made me bemused, she was aware of today's incident but how is that possible?

"Were you following me?" I asked the most unexpected question.

"She didn't follow you, Ronan called and told us everything!" Julia said interrupting our conversation.

"He is using a cellphone now?" I asked.

"You're acting weird, who doesn't use a cellphone?" Julia replied.

"Why did you follow him to the woods, you must be out of your mind!" Aunt Isla started scolding me for my reckless behavior and her lecture continued for at least two hours.

Going inside my room after a long scolding, I crawled into my bed and relaxed my body.

"It was the most intense day of my life!" I murmured.

A wolf saved me, but why?

I wanted to know the answer and there was only one answer I could think of, the wolf was none other than 'Ronan'

I decided to investigate the whole matter, and to do that I walked over to his house while he was in the woods!

Jax opened the door and I stepped inside with a smile on my face.

"I thought of saying hello!" I said in my soft voice.

"You came at the right time, we are hungry!" Jax said and I was surprised.

The boys were hungry and he asked me to cook for them, I was here to play detective yet they made me their personal cook!

As I started cooking, all the boys sat in front of me observing my skills.

"Nyla, make us something delicious" Sky asked.

"Of course, but before that you guys need to answer some of my questions!" The boys are innocent and the only ones who can tell me the real truth.

"What do you want to know?" Kai asked.

"Do you guys have some kind of supernatural power?" I spoke my mind looking straight into their eyes.

My question made each one of them flustered and they started staring each other's faces as if I caught them off guard!

"Why are you asking?" Jax asked with an innocent look in his eyes.

"I just observed that you guys are extraordinary!" A smile flashed on Jax's lips and he replied with excitement "we're special though we can't tell people about this, Ronan will kill us!"

"You guys can tell me, I am your friend after all" I tried my best to allure them into my tricks.

"But you can't tell Ronan about this!" Kai said and I nodded my head in agreement.

Just when Jax was about to tell me about them, a sudden noise in the house interrupted us!

"What was that?" I asked.

"Someone broke into our house!" Sky freaked out.

We all walked over to the main door and my eyes were stunned at the sight!

A man with long hairs, and devilish look was standing inside the house.

"Omg, we need to call the cops!" As soon as words left my mouth, he shifted himself to a wolf and my heart skipped a best.

I was terrified, and my feet were frozen at the spot.

The boys stood in front of me as a guard and in the blink of an eye they all shifted themselves into wolves leaving me speechless!

"No way!" I murmured.

They were all protecting me yet I was having a hard time processing everything at once.

I knew they were not normal, but seeing them shift themselves into wolves was unexpected and scary!

The dangerous wolf started attacking the boys and they all fell into the ground injured, tears rolled down from my eyes as I witnessed their injuries.

The wolf started walking toward me as if I was his target from the beginning and just when he was about to jump on me, Ronan groaned from behind.

I turned my head in the direction of his voice and saw him shifting his self into a wolf, too!

He ran over to me and stood by my side to protect me and with his aggressive moves he knocked out the wolf on the floor.
