Chapter 10 - A wolf saved me

Ronan eyeballs turned red and I was too stunned to say anything, I have never witnessed something like this before and at that moment fear crawled up over me.

"Ronan, your eyes..." I said gathering courage, and as soon as the words left my mouth, he took a step back and said "What's wrong with my eyes?" Going closer I looked into his eyes again and they were again changed to light brown!

"Your eyes were red before, but now..." He cut off my words in the middle and replied "I want you to leave, you're not in your right mind, so do me a favor, thanks!" I was lingering with strange thoughts, and at that moment I didn't argue with him instead ran over to my house.

Stepping inside my room, I locked the door and crawled into my bed, I took out my laptop and started reading about humans changing the color of their eyeballs.

I looked into many articles, and they all pointed at supernatural creatures like vampires and werewolves!

One thing I knew was that my eyes saw it right and it wasn't my hallucination, so I decided to dig deep to know his real identity.

Peeking through my window, I fixed my gaze at Ronan's house, and after a while he came out of his house and started walking towards the woods, so without wasting time I followed him with abate noise.

He was going deeper in the woods and I was following him yet my heart was clenching with fear!

Suddenly, a wolf approached him and I hid behind a wide tree yet on the other hand, Ronan was standing strong as if he knew the wolf very well.

"What is going on?" I murmured.

Unexpectedly, Ronan turned his head toward me and the wolf with him vanished in a blink of an eye.

"Come out!" Ronan commanded and I was surprised that he knew I was following him.

I came out of hiding and walked over to him, his eyes were filled with rage whereas my eyes were guilty!

"Why are you following me?" He asked.

I took a deep breath and replied "I just wanted to spend some time with you!" Hearing my answer, he furrowed his brows and grabbed my wrist with his strong grip.

"Get out of here now or else I won't spare you this time!" He threatened.

"Fine, I am going!" I said and started moving my feet towards the main road.

I was all alone again in the deep forest, and the incident from before was shaking my heart from inside yet I just kept on walking without.

Everything was strange about Ronan, he don't act like a normal human neither his brothers, they all talk weird things. My mind was connecting all the dots and I finally realized that Ronan was far from any normal human!

All of a sudden, an eerie feeling conquered the forest and my feet started trembling, and exactly as I feared the same wolf from that night blessed me with his presence.

"Is he taking some kind of revenge on me?" I murmured and he groaned furiously.

He scratched his paws in the mud and started taking steps toward me. I closed my palm tight and with all my strength I screamed, so that my voice could reach Ronan!

The wolf jumped over me and my timid body hit the ground, he lifted his one paw and was about to scratch my face when a strong groan stopped him, another wolf came from behind and with force pushed that wolf in the ground, the two were fighting aggressively and I was sobbing from fear!

The wolf who tried to kill me was dead, the other wolf killed him.

I was still on the ground and that wolf walked over to me, he was standing so close to me that I could see every small wound on his body from the fight!

His eyes were red and, his shiny balck fur was making me look dominant but I wasn't scared of him, so I softly touched his face with my hand and a warm smile flashed on my lips.

"Thank you for saving me!" I expressed my gratitude and he ran to the woods again!

"His eyes, they were similar to Ronan's!"
