VIVIAN'S POV
I narrowed my eyes and idly patted down my short blond hair. Unwrapping the package that was delivered and placed the french fries and hamburger on a round ceramic plate on the dining table,
Elena took the wine bottle and emptied the contents inside a tumbler. Her face sparkled as she drank the sweet red wine.
I proceeded to have a taste of the red substance but the spiciness of the fries overpowered the delicate taste of the wine. I was almost gone for the big spit belch.
A few minutes later I turned on the TV and it was halfway into my favorite show, "Star-Crossed Lovers", a TV series that ran for two straight hours from Monday to Friday.
"So you're still watching this?" Elena asked
"Of course," I replied
"I hate TV series, just come up with a full movie at once," Elena said bitterly
"But I like suspense, that is why I prefer watching TV series," I said excitedly
"Fuck suspense. What's that got to do with this?" The wine was having a profound effect on Elena. She was now saying some real bullshit.
"I just hope Nick doesn't get mad at me," I said
"For what?" Elena said as she took another gulp.
"Lemme guess, he also detests TV series like me, right?" She asked.
"I'm talking about the wine you took without his consent," I said
"If he tries shit, I'm gonna chop off his balls.," Elena.
bragged
"You're sick, Elena," I said before moving towards the kitchen area to get warm water. The weather was too frosty for my liking. I tried drinking Brandy once more, but I felt like I'd just drunk a bottle of sunflower oil. It just didn't sit well on my stomach. I puked immediately.
Sometime later, Creed and Nicholas came from the first floor. They've just concluded their chitchat upstairs. Then what the hell are they looking for over here?
Creed came straight into the seating area.
"Your brother has gone to the restroom," Creed told me and pulled me up from where I was sitting. "I missed you," He muttered, and I chuckled.
He placed his head on my neck and took in my scent before delicately pulling back.
Nicholas later came in and put the meal on the table.
"They specifically prepared this for you Creed," Nicholas said
"Thanks for the kind gesture. What else can I say?" Creed replied.
After making a move towards the dining area, Creed sat with the cutleries in his hand as he ate like a royalty with a little touch of animal behavior.
However, my brother Nicholas started behaving in a strange manner. His entire body became tense and his head gobbled up. I stared at him, confused. What is actually going on? I later noticed that he was sniffing the air before he twirled around and fixed his eyes on Elena.
"She's mine!" He hissed and had her in his arms in a split second.
"My mate," He murmured and placed his head on her neck. Kissing her passionately, he couldn't stop as both of them started breathing heavily. It was pure ecstasy, but I couldn't stand the sight of such unholy romance.
Elena just stayed glued to her seat until the kissing session was over. It shocked her to the bones. I don't think I've at any point seen Elena look so stunned, not even when she found out Creed was my mate.
"Well, I figured out that the main feature of this special night would be the smooches and canoodles only." Elena said, breaking the silence that pervaded that moment.
My brother Nicholas gazed at her in shock at first before giving her a soft peck on her cheek.
"I've finally found my mate," He declared and leaned his head against her chest. I smiled broadly at Nicholas. I'm happy he tracked down his mate. He deserves to be with somebody whom he's going to spend the rest of his life with.
Regardless of whether she is my closest friend. I realized she would keep him aware of things and I was happy she wasn't any more odd. I'm happy it was my best friend that the moon goddess chose for my brother.
"Goodness gracious! I have a mate!" Elena unexpectedly squealed.
I watched out for Creed, who didn't seem to care about the whole drama that was going on. He was too busy typing long paragraphs on his mobile phone.
I attempted to get his attention and delicately put my hand on top of his.
"Hamburger?" I asked.
"Sure. " He grinned at me and grasped my hand.
He put me down on the couch and snatched a couple of cuts from Hamburger and placed them on a plate prior to sitting close to me. I took a bite and my facial expression changed as the recognizable taste attacked my taste buds. Hamburgers are my favorite. It was one of my top snacks back in the day.
"It seems there's way too much for your rest over".
Creed muttered as he looked over at my brother and Elena. I watched them to see how both sat in a romantic pose. I smiled at them both.
"It doesn't make any difference. That my brother is cheerful makes me glad. I'm delighted that he found his mate," I said.
"Are you happy you found me, also?" Creed asked me.
"Indeed. Creed, I realize we got off to a rough beginning, however I comprehend that it's hard to......".
"I'm simply not accustomed to it. I've never had a boyfriend, so I suck at this relationship stuff." I confessed.
"Same with me. Never had a girlfriend," he admitted. I gave him a fake smile, and he laughed.
"Can we see a movie together? You know I'm down for anything tonight," He recommended.
"Oh, that will be so nice. I can't wait to see it happen right in front of my eyes," I said.
"Get changed into your night garments and we're good to go," Creed suggested.
I turned around and went upstairs to change into my night wear.
"Alright, So I suppose we as a whole are sleeping over here this evening," Elena said as she made herself comfortable on the bedding.
"I was thinking the same," I said as I slipped into the other bed, when I suddenly realized Creed would sleep right next to me. Well, it was going to be one hell of a night. I wouldn't mind if things started getting naughty. I was absolutely down for anything.
I was sure Creed was more aroused than anything. Who knows what he was planning tonight? I got lost in these lewd thoughts as lust overwhelmed me and overshadowed my power of reason. I really wanted someone to squeeze and cuddle me tonight, and Creed was lucky to be that guy.
Creed put on a DVD and sneaked in close to me. He folded his arms around me. It wasn't long before Creed and I were curled up on our sleeping mattresses. His hands caressed me as I felt every inch of his touch.
"I want to believe that you like horror movies, Viv, since this evening's a long marathon for both of us," He said. I sighed and shook my head.
"I don't get you," I frowned.
"You will not understand everything I say. Life is not so kind to people, except if you can definitely relax, but look! You're lucky to have me here by your side". He said soothingly, gently stroking my long hair.
VIVIANS POV-Leaving Stetson Street PackIt came as a surprise, It happened overnight. All I could remember was the horrible sound of a whirlwind that swept past the window. I never could predict that it will result in such a massive destruction. The mansion we lived in was ripped apart, trees fell on all sides of the apartments.I suspected Dorian Gray, but this wreckage was too big to be done by an individual.Dust covered my face as I stepped out to meet Creed, It seems we had lost everything. All we worked for had disappeared in just a few seconds.I wasn't prepared for what I was going to hear, It all came as a shocker."We need to talk" Creed mumbled"Yeah, I'm here" I said putting my hands around his neck. We've not been in terms recently, our romance has been fading. We were now shadows of ourselves not the star-crossed lovers with burning passion for each other.Currently we were just a poor variant of Romeo and Juliet.Creed was crunched over lowering his head. His beard hard
VIVIAN'S POV- SIX MONTHS LATEROne dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all. And sixty cents of it was in pennies. Pennies saved one and two at a time by bulldozing the grocer and the vegetable man and the butcher until one’s cheeks burned with the silent imputation of parsimony that such close dealing implied. One dollar and eighty-seven cents. And the next day would be Christmas.......It was absolutely terrifying feeling you have as you tightly hold the covers of over yourself with the knowledge that there is something hiding under your bed. You want to look, but you don't at the same time. You're frozen with fear and unable to act. It had been the last to be played with and anticipated it would be the next as well. The other toys grumbled beneath. At one time each had held the spot of the red ball, but over time they had sunk deeper and dee
VIVIAN'S POVThe vampire charged towards her with a roar, and Bella's reflexes kicked in. She rolled, crawled, and twisted, everything purely guided by her instincts. She flipped and engulfed him in a wrestling style combat applying a choke hold on him.The only way to keep his fangs at bay was to strangle him with her bare hands. The vampire squealed and snarled as his horrible voice echoed in the room. Dorian Gray heard this and was coming forward with dozens of more vampires I could see him descending from the staircase of the story building.Dressed in moth-eaten and patched clothes he had a blade in his hand swinging it as he approached with an evil smile.Immediately Vincent shot from his bow a flurry of poisoned arrows aimed towards Gray and his vampire guards. On the other side Necro used his magic formula to neutralize the vampires making them fall of the staircase like a bunch of dead men.The battle raged on as I watched hiding behind a large wooden box on the side of the w
VIVIANS POVRed blood bloomed from underneath Bella’s torn fingernails, pooled in the crescents of her cuticles, and trailed down her knuckles in little rivers. Despite the pain, she gripped the ledge more tightly with her left hand so she could try to slide her right hand forward. There was grit and blood under her fingers, making her slip, and her hands were cramping so badly that the center of her palm was starting to spasm. She reached with her right, but didn’t have the strength to pull herself any farther forward. They deadly and ghastly battle with the vampire guardians of the Pinewood Forest once one hell of a battle, we had been joined by another pack from across the Belmont River who heard of Dorian Gray's exploits and his plan to take control of all the suburbs.Bella slid back with a gasp until she was dangling from her rigid fingertips. CREEDS POVOn Monday morning, school was closed due to attacks by unspecified creatures, who else than this rogue Vampires.Power actually hadn't been restored to specific pieces of the island, and a few roads in the focal point of town were closed because of harm done by yesterday's storm. It was definitely the "storm" that wrecked a portion of the town, everything was displaced and some bones probably dislocated.I ran for a couple of blocks, just to put a few distance between myself and his Julius.Julius was much faster and agile while I trailed behind him like a snail.I went down to the death end of the road to take a gander at the demolished grocery store alongside many different onlookers. Everybody was saying that an overhead cable had fell of off on the center of the road the previous night and that it had gotten so hot that it dissolved the asphalt. I saw the opening in the ground and saw the heavy overhead lines lying on the asphalt tarred road, coincidentally the power gr
VIVIAN'S POVTowards the early hours of the morning someone grabbed Bella's cloak and jerked at it. It became loose as it was designed to do, buying Bell an extra second. She dropped to her knees, and buried her dagger in the vampires throat, rolled off the table to avoid an incoming mace, and slashed across the other vampires face with her sword. He bellowed in rage, and she sank her blade into his side, in the gap between his ill-fitting armor sections.Bella twisted, checking on me. I had dropped on all fours and was crawling under the tables towards the exit. I didn't want to take any chances.Necro was hitting the hoard of attacking vampires on both sides. Bella spun, trying to parry and keep him in view, but the vampire mercenaries closed in on her, locking her into a ring of bodies. Too many….....A deafening roar tore from behind the door, bodies went flying like they were made of straw. The huge female vampire who stood in front of me collapsed as I stabbed her with a jack kn
