27. Goodbye Dear Life

CASSANDRA NIGHTINGALE….

I left the hotel at five o'clock in the morning. Mr Iceberg was still sleeping. I left a 'Thank you' note for him. I knew that I had thanked him last night. But still, I thanked him one more time. As he had to face a lot of trouble for me.

First of all, he saved me from drowning. And then he took me to the hotel. And he stayed the whole night there on that uncomfortable couch for me. He could have left me alone. But he stayed just to make sure I was fine.

He was truly a gentleman. I did not know that I would ever meet such a gentleman in my life. When there were many demons lurking around me to devour me.

I reached home and found everything silent. Everyone was sleeping at that hour. So I began heading to my room silently.
